Agreement reached between Derby & Boro

Good to hear. The future of Derby County is in Mel Morris hands, I do hope he's made to give their stadium back.

That's weird.
I thought when you went into administration the previous owners relinquished all control of the company, and yet here we have the previous owner negotiating with a potential creditor to settle a liability.
Will Mel Morris be contacting the other creditors to settle with them as well?

Can still see there being yobbism on Saturday
unfortunately yes, the cat is out of the bog on that one I think. The whole thing could have been sorted a long time ago if Mel Morris had just done the right thing when he had the chance (of which he has had many)

My hope is that both sets of fans can show their collective disgust in Mel Morris with a view to having their whole situation expedited.

The whole thing is in Mel Morris' hands. Derby County fans have fell for his utter bull hook line and sinker.

Derbyshire Live have totally been left out of the loop on this.

They still haven't announced it.

Along with BBC Radio Derby, they have been conntinually pouring petrol on this fire and should rightly receive the ire of both sets of fans

Add to that Alan Nixon, the Mail.

The BBC Derby guy was so out of his depth with Couhig it was embarrassing.

In a way I'm a bit disappointed.

Had the makings of being a local derby style atmosphere tomorrow, and we haven't had one of them in years

Jokes aside though, does this mean they've come to a settlement or just agreed on how they're going to fight it out?

The whole thing is in Mel Morris' hands.
How?
Yes he'll be a major creditor but has no control over DCFC & their administration process.

I don't understand how he can go off & make a side deal with another (potential) creditor, such that they drop out.
If I was HMRC etc, I'd want to know the terms of the deal & why it wasn't available to me.
