Liverpool are reportedly set to make Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Adama Traore their first signing ahead of the 2021/22 season.

According to reports in Spain, the Reds have agreed a deal with the Midlands outfit in a switch that would see the winger become the second player to switch Molineux for Anfield in as many years.

wonder if we have a sell on clause, may be a few extra bob in Neils transfer kitty. - £1.5M is 5% of the £30M fee.

Be interesting to see how he does there.
Seems to have regressed massively at Wolves of late.
Agree he is miles apart from what he was there last season and perhaps something off the pitch has rocked his boat . As I understand there is no sell on clause as they didn’t have to incorporate it when they bought him off us , all they had to do was meet his release clause .
Dont know about you lot but to me he hasn’t half beefed up and looks like a Rugby League player

plays the same position as Salah, is it to be backup or replacement? Either way wouldn't sound a good move for him.

I think it’s the loss of Jimenez for most of the season and Jota to Liverpool that have been the biggest factors in his dropping off this season. His positioning has been adjusted too and without the big target man floating in at the front or back post, he hasn’t been able to pile up the assists like last season.

not sure he has regressed, more not progressed, only see highlightes on BBC but always look for him in Wolves games and far too often he "switches off" during play, being static not continuing runs in support when ball is away from him. Far too many occasions he literally stands still just ball watching.
Replacemnent for Salah....never in a million years

You're right in what you say Truck, not sure he is a direct replacement for Salah though.

I’m not a betting man but if I was I’d wager a wedge on Salah being off in the Summer with a mighty fee coming in . Maybe Klopp considers Traore a viable project

One of Liverpool's biggest issues this season has been injuries meaning their usually fabled front three getting very little rest or rotation. As such, they've looked stale and been a bit toothless upfront.

I'd suspect if they're getting Traore that he'd be another to add to that forward stable rather than to replace anyone.

Ive no idea - apart from Salah and Mane, he would be in the pool with 3 or 4 others (shaquiri, oxlaide chamberlain, minamino etc- perhaps those three are being moved out, he wont get much start/playing time, but who knows what will happen this summer with transfers
Jota's been really good for Liverpool, he's the 4th choice / rotation forward. Surprised me how well he's done, didn't think he was at that level.

Another one of their big misses with injuries this year. For all they've had a horrible season it's hard to cope without all three of your centre backs (one of whom is your best player), your captain in midfield, Fabinho and Keita out for a few months, and Jota. Crazy the injuries they've had.

Think Big Shaq and Minamino will be moved on - and agree, if Liverpool were to lose a big player, I'd bet on Salah for some reason. Doesn't seem that happy and some rumblings in the media.

Would be great to see Adama at a massive club just to see how it goes for him. He could be so destructive in a team where he's not getting double/triple marked out of games. A lot of tactics and pressing and workrate at Liverpool though, not sure that's Adama's game and not sure if he's capable of learning - would love to find out though.
