I don’t get it. He’s ended up at a promotion rival. How have we not been tracking him since we knew ELL was going and captured him on loan or whatever. He’s prolific at this level?
We wouldn't pay his full wages and the eye watering loan fee, which it seems WBA have agreed to do.I don’t get it. He’s ended up at a promotion rival. How have we not been tracking him since we knew ELL was going and captured him on loan or whatever. He’s prolific at this level?
Aren’t we paying over half of kelechi’s £92k/week wages? We wouldn't pay his full wages and the eye watering loan fee, which it seems WBA have agreed to do.
Think a goalscorer is all WBA is missing so I’d imagine that’s another play-off spot taken nowAren’t we paying over half of kelechi’s £92k/week wages?
Surprised they can afford it, must be close to the ffp wind.We wouldn't pay his full wages and the eye watering loan fee, which it seems WBA have agreed to do.

We don't know is the answer, but I reckon Armstrong's wage is more than half of Kel's.Aren’t we paying over half of kelechi’s £92k/week wages?
From what I've read it's around £20/25k p/w.Aren’t we paying over half of kelechi’s £92k/week wages?
Loan fees tend to be when you’ve got an asset that you want to keep not one you want to get rid of. Sevilla want him out, so I doubt there will be any significant loan feeFrom what I've read it's around £20/25k p/w.
Not sure about any loan fee though.
I'm sure it's not as rich as the AA loan though, hence we didn't do it.
We were offered him first and turned it down. He’s at WBA because we said no.Just because a player moves to a rival, doesn’t mean that we had a chance to sign them and blew it. We probably did everything we thought possible, assuming we wanted him.
Plenty of reasons he might have gone there and not here. Money the obvious one in most cases. Closer to home? Playing under Mowbray again like he did for 3 years at Blackburn? We can’t compete with that.
Similarly with Brereton-Diaz - his missus is pregnant and she has friends / family in Sheffield which is why he went there. Doesn’t mean that any other club that tried to sign him screwed up, they never stood a chance.
Far too easy to criticise when we actually don’t know all the facts.
Says who? Where are you getting that from?We were offered him first and turned it down. He’s at WBA because we said no.

95% of stuff in the media - especially around the transfer window - is either made up or completely exaggerated. You’re making it sound like he was desperate to come here and we were the only club being offered an amazing deal which we turned down - I would be amazed if this was true.
In reality, us and West Brom (and probably a host of other clubs) were maybe asked if we would be interested if we paid £xm loan fee and 100% of his wages. Maybe we said no to that. Maybe we even said yes, but so did West Brom, and he chose them.
Again, unless we were involved in the conversation, we can only guess as we just don’t know. My apologies if you have inside information I don’t have, and I’ve got it completely wrong - but I would be very surprised if we were “offered him”.
How much are we spending on our 5 loan signings?WBA aren't making the top 2, so they've essentially spent £5m on the potential to secure a playoff place. That's absolutely mental and if we did that i'd be fuming
Still, that is just a media report. I personally don’t believe everything i read. Even if it’s true, I doubt we were the only club “offered him”.
