It's a job and he is a professional football manager. He’s a professional at the end of the day. Decent job pretty close to home. Hope their fans give him a decent chance. Good luck to him.
As a Boro fan, my main concern is that we do well. I’m not really that bothered about other teams (even Newcastle and Sunderland). Like many, I have a soft spot for Mowbray and wish him well. This doesn’t have to be detrimental to Boro. It's a job and he is a professional football manager.
But I don't wish him an ounce of good luck in this role - to do so is absolutely perverse as a Boro fan.
Black cats of some kind. What the **** are those things on Sunderland's badge anyway? They look like prawns. Fookin prawns!
Never mindNever seen him look so happy. **** him.
AbsolutelyAnd you know what will happen on monday night now
Bet you hope that happensAbsolutely
Major new managers bounce from Sunderland which will turn our fans toxic against wilder
It nothing to do with being a smog, they see him as a safe boring appointment. Someone for mid table mediocrity, the owners showing no ambition to go for promotion again.Mowbray said: “I grew up in the North East and I always remember my experiences at Roker Park with great fondness – the emotion, passion and size of Sunderland AFC."
Trying to win the fans over .. they dont seem overly impressed with a smog in charge of their team.
How cringe is it going to be when he claps the away end on Monday night?
Has he taken Venus with him?
