Driving on the A1 recently all the average speed cameras had a little sign in front saying “speed camera not in use”.
Do they legally have to do that? Seems odd as just the site of them would deter most people.

When you’re sat on a motorway, doing 50. Driving doesn’t come into it. Save that for the country roads
