A number of EFL clubs request kick off time change for England match

I'm not much of a traditionalist with kick off times. I would be happy if all Saturday kick-offs were early or late to be honest. But understand the 1500 on Saturday is sacrosanct to many, I'm local and will make it home in time anyway so no biggie for me, but earlier would be fine too.

It be a pi55 take if it is changed now, fans travelling from Luton might miss parts of the Riverside match, and people catching the train afterwards might have to hang around Boro or Darlo waiting for their booked train.
It's easy enough to watch England on mobile phones so most people shouldn't miss it.

I think very very few people will be inconvenienced if the game stays at 3pm, as i assume they will have made travel arrangements knowing full well Englands quarter final will be at 7pm on the same day, its not like this came as a surprise as we won the group exactly as we should, However, changing it to 12:00 will potentially ruin travel plans for many fans, home and away.

I understand some smaller clubs, or clubs with a smaller percentage of season ticket holders requesting a change as it could affect attendance and income, but don't think that's the case with Boro. We have very few walk up fans and the away following will only ever be small, luton dont travel well up here.

It would be nice either way if the club came out and confirmed it instead of leaving people in limbo. Im sure Luton fans will have already booked their transport and they might like to prepare for whatever the decision is.

It's a joke to even consider changing the time this late in the day. People have already made arrangements and I'd be livid if I had train tickets in and out of Boro for a 3pm kick off and it got moved to noon.

I'd be minded not to go in protest if the kick off changes.
