Gayle will be way down the list at Newcastle once they start spending money. A move to Boro makes sense in the short-term. Plus he scored loads when in the Championship previously.

It’s been a while since he last played regularly and he’s no spring chicken these days and has likely lost some of his pace. Will he still have what it takes to deliver in the Championship? I’m not so sure like some on here, he’s worth a punt though.

He'll be on massive wages, which would probably rule us out I would think, especially given the clubs with more cash will be interested.
 
If we sign Gayle. I’ll be well happy, he’s quick and can finish. Knows this league like the back of his hand.
 
I’d imagine they’ll be seeing if they go down. If they do they keep him, if they don’t I think they’ll 1m% be looking to move him on, especially they money they have now

Too cryptic for me. They don’t have anyone called Brian or Gary in the squad. Or even Gastropod.
 
So we will have four, small, nippy strikers. Looks like we will be the Championship Man City. Who will be the false number nine then? All of them?

They’ll be bringing in a few players in January you’d imagine, which means they’ll have to let a few of their 25 man squad go. Can see Gayle being one of them.
