91% in over 80s and 95% in over 70s have been vaccinated in the UK

It was a necessary analogy. People aren't grasping the fact both vaccines we currently have need a booster shot and are just ignoring the fact less than 1% of the population is fully vaccinated. I can understand it from you but people NOT desperate to argue against lockdowns and restrictions are also being confused. Hence why I tried to simplify things
Which people aren't grasping it?

All of those I know who have had the vaccine have said immediately the date of the second vaccine.

Funnily enough, I'm the only one I know who hasn't been given a second date.

Use the quote function correctly then and he wouldn't say you did.

Also Johnsons father is not a covid denier regularly getting arrested. I'll class the idiot brother as a bigger idiot than Stanley Johnson based on that.

Best Wishes

Tory Boy (y)

Boris Johnson is the idiot of that particular family, bragging about shaking hands with Covid patients prior to contracting the disease and having to be cared for by a specialist team.

Corbyn's brother may be in the same bracket but nobody voted for him.

People voted for the clown PM.

Speaking as a recipient of one Pfizer jab.

- I know I am not fully vaccinated. I have had one dose of two.
- in 21 days (ignoring a possible compounding age variable), my 'protection' against Covid will be up to 90%.
- from that day my immunity will decline. Almost certainly not to zero on day #22.
- There is an argument in the research and virology literature that my protection will extend for weeks. It would be good to see the data as it unfolds.
- I will feel another level better when I get #2. Nothing I have seen in research/vaccine roll out indicates that this isn't necessary.
- I am not especially interested in the gov using this to make them appear competent. They're not.

Just pointing out your ludicrous analogy as have others. Have a fearful day darling.

I meant the people on here. I’m all for positive thinking but there seems to be a problem with people confusing “has had a vaccine” with “vaccinated “

And I’m just explaining it to you. Which you chose to ignore because you’d rather argue. Shame really

No you tried to ad hominem and then tried to justify your scaremongering backed by nothing. I just didn't rise to your bait and it's absolutely fine I know we shan't gain consensus, I still like you dear.

We all know it's a two jab vaccination we will have 90% protection after a few weeks of the first Pfizer jab though.

Has that been confirmed now CtC?
But then after day 14 immunity rose gradually day by day to about 90 per cent at day 21 and then didn’t improve any further

..... in the link I posted above ...... and in the original Pfizer/BionTech data, 90% after one, 94% after two (I think) with a 3 week gap ....

I read it here.

I read it here.
Cheers CtC I'll read that, it doesn't correllate to the article I read, so will be interested.

Not read it all yet, but looks very promising, a peer review would be good, but at least there is some supporting evidence for the strategy and it is no longer a shot in the dark.
