Didn't we clinch the title with a 1-0 win at Luton on 30th March 1974?
Thought there might have been a bit more interest in it to be honest.....Any memories from those in attendance?
Probably need to reference more in the thread title to jog memories.Thought there might have been a bit more interest in it to be honest.....
At first I thought you'd put Eric McMordieMet Eric Morecambe before game.
Outside players directors entrance.
Exactly same, clowning, as he did on TV
Massive Luton fan.
Seem to remember going on United bus.
Bought Centre Stand seat tickets.
Ended up in seats in line with penalty spot as stand only went to half way line.
Boro fans everywhere in the ground

bit ironic with Giles Bremner and Hunter in his Dirty leeds teamDon’t think Jack liked McMordie.something happened in an international match between England v Ireland I seem to remember. Think he thought McMordie had gone “over the top” on somebody and Jack didn’t like that.
Boro team came back on it and served champagne in plastic cups to everyone.Any memories from those in attendance?
They were definitely on the train - not sure if all of them were but Jack Charlton and some players were definitely on the train.Hang on, the players can't have been at a service station and on the train at the same time?
Yes, I've definitely heard that on previous threads over the years. They were definitely on the train - not sure if all of them were but Jack Charlton and some players were definitely on the train.
