4 Attacking Players..

Would love Jed Wallace mind. Looks like Paterson will play a part on Friday, chance to show if he’s worth signing or not
Patterson has not had a chance to prove himself due to twisting his ankle, I hope we let him stay with the group and get fit, no harm in that and we may get another Watmore .

Looks like we`ve had a bid turned down [Means Bluebirds think they can get more for the lad].
Dont clubs always reject the first offer?
But hes well down their pecking order.
Mick and Neil are old friends, so my prediction is both clubs will bat for and aft - because the player will want game time.
Neil can persuade a donkey to don a pair of footi - boots and turn it into a thorough-bred .
Hopefully Ciaron gets his bag packed up to the Riverside?!

Neil Warnock's Boro table offer for Ciaron Brown

Cardiff City have rejected Middlesbrough's first offer for Ciaron Brown with Neil Warnock setting his sights on securing a deal for the defender, according to TEAMtalk.

The defender was brought back from his loan spell up in Livingston by Mick McCarthy back in January and played a prominent role throughout the back half of the season.

McCarthy had been tipped off by a friend of his who scouts north of the border and he heard some positive things about the Northern Ireland international.

His contract was due to run out this summer, but Cardiff have seemingly triggered an option to keep him in the Welsh capital for another season.

However, Sean Morrison, Aden Flint and Curtis Nelson are the first-choice back three, while new Arsenal signing Mark McGuinness has been brought in to challenge for that back-up spot.

£860k season loan for muniz with a £7.5m fee at end.
Report says Boro interest has cooled.
Being realistic, We are shopping in Aldi not Harrods and we will do well to get the likes of Smith and Mullin.
If I HAD to guess our entire summer transfer business, squad numbers for new arrivals and who they were coming in to cover for..

I’d go for

1 Joe Lumley - Betinelli (Free)
3 Ciaron Brown - Coulson (£50k)
8 Jamie Patterson - Wing (Free)
9 Oche Ikpeazu - Akpom (£750k)
10 Josh Maja - Fletcher (Loan)
11 Sammy Ameobi - Johnson (Free)
14 Sol Bamba - Wood (Free)
13 Andy Lonergan - Stojanovic (Free)
19 Mendez-Laing - Mendez-Laing (Free)
21 Martin Payero - Bolasie (£3m)
22 Lee Peltier - Fisher (Free)
23 Junior Holliet - Kebano (Free)
24 Michael Smith - Assombalonga (£750k)
25 Matt Crookes - Saville (£1m)
26 Rodrigo Muniz - Browne (Loan)
30 Kadeem Harris - Spence (Free)

The Muniz deal sounds interesting he looks quality on YouTube!!

Definitely excited by the prospect of bringing Muniz in, our business this Summer, or what we're aiming for in the market is not at all what I was expecting. Gibbo must be putting some money into it for this season, things could get exciting ... I feel weird. I'm not used to this!! :ROFLMAO: Within a couple of weeks we could have some cracking signings in our shirt .. if we are going to manage to attract players here and knock the likes of Fulham out the way, things start to look very promising ... I just hope it works out. Surprised but buzzing ... the amount of talk going on now regarding us and signings, it sounds like we're very close to another couple following Payero ..

Anyone else heard talk about the next manager already decided after Warnock calls it a day after this season?? Apologies if mentioned on another thread. But appears we could be making signings ready for the incoming guy the way some folk are talking on Oneboro ... it's going to be an 'old face' apparently, some of the ITKers on there say

Woodgate to return???? :ROFLMAO:

Oneboro? New manager? No thanks.

I would expect to see something like this:

Britt Assombalonga 30 apps 5 goals
Chuba Akpom 33 apps 4 goals
Ashley Fletcher 12 apps 4 goals

Michael Smith 44 apps 10 goals
Uche Ikpeazu 31 apps 6 goals
Josh Maja 32 apps 5 goals

and then take into consideration we're missing the talents of MB for half the season.
Marcus Browne 8 apps 2 goals
Rodrigo Muniz 9 apps 3 goals (in the league) 18 apps and 5 goals overall

Plus we had the likes of Patrick Roberts, chipping in with 10 apps and 0 goals

I'd like to think that we could move for Muniz and find a place for him in the squad that would be of very little risk.

Please don't throw last seasons stats back at me and say we're only going to score 11 goals all season x
I'm not too sure if we can really use those figures from last season as our midfield was also complicit in the creation of goals-- granted we missed a lot of chances but you have to have a midfield which can also score and generate chances consistently, which we haven't managed since the days of dare I say Mr Magicman
