2461 left for Chelsea

I think we've shifted a lot this afternoon. Could be people buying at the ticket office rather than online while at the match.

Just had a quick count, less than 1700. Come on Boro, sell those last few and let Chelsea know there entering a noise cauldron. Get behind the boys UTB ⚽

Not many left at all. Will be Sold out for Certain ..
So much more belief with these players back and a decent performance today

If 1884 away tickets are left - that means around 2,425 sold to the 180 priority point fans and some corporates. Possibly over 80% of the 180 pointers have taken up their ticket option.

Based on this information the Chelsea away tickets will not make general sale. I don't think a big push is really needed Boro fans in general are going or want to go.

Think the thread is about the home leg, Red.

Ooops - I make it a bit less than 1884 left for the home game - pretty sure we will shift them, some fans find 30k crowds more attractive especially for night games. The Chelsea game is not on the BBC neither and it means more than the Villa game.

I was saying to someone earlier about Steau tickets still being available until the day - I remember people on here encouraging people to go, might never get to a European semi etc. I’m certain Chelsea will sell out.

Ref Steau tickets - I remember some posters complaining about having to pay £19, when it was live on Sky. It was an European semi-final. Fancy missing going to that match if you were able to go, but wanted to save £19.

I am envious of those that went. I could not get time off work and it would have been a 5 hour drive each way.

Some of the European attendances were a bit embarrassing. I do understand that in an era when so many have season tickets, as then and now, and in a part of the world where pennies can count, it’s not easy to shell out for one off matches. But you knew then a European run was probably a once in a generation thing, and these days, for us, so might a semi-final be. So give up a session on the beers and a takeaway and get yourselves down.

This is the first semi final we've been in about 18 years. We've showed tonight Carrick has the tatics and the players have shown they have the ability to go toe to toe with top premiership side. Surly this will sell out and really hope the night is one to go down in history for us.

It looks like Chelsea have sold out their allocation, for the Riverside. It must be the most they have ever brought to Teesside. (approx 2,500)

All the family blocks can be viewed on the MFC ticket site for this game which is not normal - is it?

West Stand Lower looks sold out, bar 11 tickets. I suspect offering one price all round the ground has made the more expensive seats more popular. To sit in a prime seat in the West Stand for a maximum £25 for League Cup Semi Final only £20 for over 65s - is good value.
