Maybe they just mean the camera crew so as they're not exposed from the players over the full 90 minutesThis is the interesting bit from the EFL statement
Whilst matches will unfortunately have to take place without supporters, we are working with our broadcast partners, EFL Championship clubs and all relevant stakeholders to broadcast the remaining 108 games plus Sky Bet Championship Play-Offs either live on Sky Sports, iFollow or a club’s equivalent streaming service.
And there are going to be five subs allowed. I don't really see the point of that rule.
This could take a nasty turn yet.
Some Prem clubs are reported to be against any relegation this season.
I’m pretty sure they could unilaterally do that (help anyone?).
Can’t help thinking a deal has been struck - all those in the bottom 6 or so were vehemently against playing at neutral venues. Trade off could be - support the big boys and we will support you.
I’d find it quite funny if they did that
Do we have QPR to ply then, wish it was our 1st gameApparently QPR CEO is both "stunned" & "absolutely appalled" whilst also being "vehemently opposed to this schedule" - the 20th June restart.. & has made his feelings known to the EFL & probably thrown some toys out of his pram....
He added "The players haven't even returned to full-contact training at this moment and yet they are now expected to be in a position to play at a competitive level in just three weeks' time,"
Indeed the temerity of the EFL to expect gown men, & professional footballers at that, to be able to run around after a bag of air in an empty stadium - imagine if they had to do a real job. One of the dears may pop a sprocket..
If everyone returns at the same time - its an even playing field - yes they'll be a bit rusty & off the pace a little though they've had 3 months to keep good general fitness & any little niggles should have gone by now - it's the ideal mid season break they are always banging on about..
Suck it up & get on with it..

Those reports are that they're opposed to relegation if the season is not completed, not that they're opposed in general.
Ah, sorry - misunderstood that.
Just hope the season isn’t allowed to end then.....
