14 Tickets Left For Chelsea

That’s impressive as bound to be a few singles floating about.

Don’t forget it’s selling the Chelsea allocation as well

The record for a Boro match is 34,836, vs Norwich of all people.

I doubt there were more than 836 Norwich fans there that day, and I don't think the ground even has 34k seats any more.

It's clearly time to expand the grounds....;)

No, there would have been more regularly when we were getting 34.5k plus.

Not sure on that, I can't find the official breakdown but Premier League away teams were entitled to 10% of capacity and it was a festive fixture.

If Norwich took the full 10% of that, there were 31,352 home fans.

That could be beaten on Saturday if segregation and card troubles haven't hamstrung us.
I'm expecting there to still be thousands of seats used for segregation though.

They used the offer 3k to away fans back then, but you'd be lucky if Norwich even brought 1500.
Must have been 34k home fans at the Steaua game also .

Norwich are not bad travellers - I remember they had at least 1500. It was a Xmas holiday fixture from what I remember

1999/2000 we had around 31,000 season ticket holders - the peak - the lowest crowd that season was around 31,700 against Wimbledon.

It will be good to see around 31k home fans on Saturday.

Yes, 1,500 sounds about right, all decked out in Yellow in the South Stand. 2-0 to the Boro.

I knew we got bigger crowds👍. Just presumed the away followings 'back in the day' would have been around 3-4k.

So I'm guessing 31k 'actual Boro' as in home fans on sat. So won't be far off in terms of home support.

We have never really exceeded 32k home fans - back at Ayresome the big crowds over 35k always always included 6k away fans.

There was 1 seat of segregation between Boro fans and Norwich fans that day and no trouble as I recall.
