šŸ™Cut your energy bills nearly in half with Octopus Tracker

Electricity price looking favourable tomorrow, down to 15p ish
Yeah my agile rates look like they're dropping sharply this evening after 1900. Should have an even better idea after 4pm when they next days rates are out.

Storms coming later this week, more wind, less gas, cheaper prices.

Where do you get these next day tracker prices? Do they show in your Octopus app?

I get the next day Agile rates at 4pm, so 4pm I'll get from 2300 tonight to 2300 tomorrow.
Gastracker.uk or octoaid, octopus watch etc all get them

Don't think they get agile any quicker than what you are mind

Ah I have Octo aid but don't see that, maybe it's as mine is set to Agile.

Where can I look to find that on there, if it would be on there for me?

Gastracker doesn't have any Agile data, but I suppose it will be a good gauge for the expected range, if I just find a similar rate

So, 18/10 on gastracker looks similar to 13/10 and 15/15:

So, from that if I look at the below, for a corresponding time I should be able to get a range of 0-50p or maybe a 0-30p. Not the red line hasn't dropped to 15.6 on there eyet.

Will keep my eye on this as might help when I'm in charger limbo around midday, debating whether the charge on an afternoon or early in the morning the next day.

It's on My Rates. You can set up an alternate profile and select tracker tariff

Nice one, about the alternate profile, I'll sort that out.

Rates looking decent for tomorrow, as I had expected, so we're back to charging the car for nothing again basically.

Hopefully the little peak in gas was just mild weather thing.

I switched over to octopus and have had smart meters fitted.

Iā€™m struggling to get moved onto the tracker.

This was the 1st response I got off them:

Thanks for getting in touch. We're just in the process of connecting up to the smart meters, which can take up to 2 weeks. Once your meters are connected our team will transfer you over to Tracker.

Then more recently:

Thanks for getting in touch with us!

Tracker is a beta tariff which means that we are still working out the best way for it to work and currently trialing the tariff with 50,000 customers. If you are outside those 50,000 customers it is likely we have you on a waiting list until we decide to put more customers on the tariff.

Unfortunately we will not be able to back date the tariff due to the amount of people we have waiting to be onboarded, however you will be able to join the tariff once the next batch of customers are able to use Tracker

Iā€™m currently still sitting on the flexible tariff. Any suggestions?

That sounds like an outdated response, I'd just go back to them and ask again, or you can ring them, or you can sign up online I think

Log in first then use that link and you should be able to sign up

I followed the link once logged in and was good to go about 4 days later.
