How do I change to the tracker tariff?

I've just switched from another supplier but can't find the tracker tariff option. The only page I've seen about it says that sign ups are currently closed and will open again in early July.

Use the "sign up" button on that link or tweet them

It does say closed but imagine still works but I'd just get on Twitter they seem quite slow on email.

I linked a form a few posts back, think they just release them in gluts as they get then in

No, I thought some chargers would show that though? Or be able to access the data via something like home assistant if compatible

You'd see a chart for the day so you'd know when you charged and what the usage is during that time. As well as what live usage is but it's just extra data
On the tracker it took 19kw's to charge the good ladies car to an extra 180 miles, I worked that out at Ā£3.41

Good work, it's quite hard to persuade some people as they're sure it's a trap somehow

My mate is Asian and has his parents live with him and 5 kids and his elec and gas was Ā£570 a month in April. Ā£180 after first month with octopus, gas use will be down but he will be saving a fortune
Yeah, I've been through it with loads of friends and family who usually ask for a bit of advice on things like this, but for some reason people just seem to see it as a risk.....yet they're already paying double what they should be, it's mad.

I'm already Ā£590 in credit with Octopus, only been with them for about 7 weeks/ two payments.

Electric down to 8.3p a KWH tomorrow, which is over 3 times cheaper than the cap price of 29.93 a KWH. Gas is 3.6p which is less than half of the cap amount. It's great that you can see the day before tomorrows price, you can put off doing expensive stuff.

I'll be charging the car tomorrow.

Where are you finding this information? I switched over on July 1st and for the life of me I can't find info anywhere that tells me what the current rate is, yet alone the forecast rate.

Question if someone would be kind enough to answer

Just clicked one of the links above and went through the new customer sign/quote me exercise by submitting my estimated yearly usage and the quoute is saying I`ll be paying Ā£170 duel fuel a month D/D.

I take it that the amount quoted and the tarriff will change as it looks like the rates are at price cap levels....am i missing something here?

EDIT - So looking at their other tariffs I`m assuming you sign up to the flexible and then ask to be put on the tracker tarriff?

Yes you have to be on the tracker to get these prices, the price above is the government capped price.

This is the North east tracker price.

This post is mega long, but have updated the OP with relevant details for July price cap

šŸ˜˜

Honestly if you're not on this right now, and you don't already have a mega cheap fix in place, you're daft!

Absolutely go for it without hesitation, it's a complete and utter no brainer, save yourselves a small fortune.

Are you on iOS? If so check the first post in this thread it has details how to sets up notifications, and the app OctoAid is excellent. If on android I believe there are similar apps on the app store
For those on Andriod, like me, there's an Octoaid Facebook group.

Is this worth the Ā£1.99 app price and is it easy to set up for us none techies?
If you're on iOS I'd say get octo aid as it's free, but I think this is worth 1.99 for seeing how much you save at a glance each day

All you need is the api key and it walks you through how to get that, takes 5 seconds. Octo aid also need the api key, and also walks you through the process

Thanks for the heads up on this as I do agree to the "no brainer" sentiment. I have moved to Octopus (via the initial OP on here), but they will not let me join the tracker (on their Website) until I have smart meters.

Here is my link to help share the wealth if anybody else wishes to join:

Have you asked for one? They are pretty quick with fitting one if you want one
