Wilder Rumours

Wilder - blagged then moaned
Warnock - fixed us and brought the love
Woodgate - treaded water
Pulis - he was dreadful
Monk - he was dreadful
Agnew - struggled, out of his depth
Karanka - was out of his league
Mowbray - built a promotion winning team
Strachan - nearly destroyed the club
Southgate - had the carpet pulled

Highlights included, Tony Mowbray’s innate ability to pick a player and spot a bargain, Peter Kenyon pulling in the players for Karanka, Warnock building a squad for next to nothing.

Karanka was the only long term option and that was a success, our best transfers have been from the bargain and brought in by the Fixers Mowbray & Warnock.

Kieran Scott was supposed to be the puppet master bringing in scandi bargains, moneyball free agents and premier quality loan players.
I dont agree with you about Christopher Wilder, but I wouldnt want your contributions in a sub-folder Newy:)

I didn’t ask for any information? You seem to have a lot of self importance here with your ‘facts’ Somebody has told you something that may or may not be true and that’s that. I think we’ve all probably heard what you have been told as with most of the rumours floating about Teesside. As for having any issues with your info I don’t really care tbh, I have my opinion of downing and you have yours.
self importance? about knowing something you don't know? I probably know a lot you don't but that isn't self importance, it's just life. I'll tell you what is self important, dismissing someone elses knowledge, with no idea of what that knowledge is, and where it came from, simply because it doesn't fit in with your prejudiced view of the world. It seems if you haven't witnessed something, if you have no evidence in your grasp, it didn't happen. Now that's truly self-important.

You've met Downing in passing a couple of times and assume his character based on these fleeting moments, more fool you.

For someone who doesn't care about any info I have you are doing a fine job of acting like someone that does, I mean you are the one that started to directly ask me questions about it. My word 🤷‍♂️ 🤦‍♂️

Anyway, you have your view, and I wouldn't wish to change it if I could, which I couldn't, I'll stick with my view cheers.

Another snowflake wokelord identifying with Chris ‘the bed’ Wilder!

It would be pretty boring if everyone agreed and had to search into uninviting folders about politics. King Charles should pull his giant finger out and give boro city status and a royal warrant and put that duchy of cornwall money into the club’

‘Royal Middlesbrough’ - the very best of UK and commonwealth talent.

If this is true then Gibson will sack him immediately, remember Garry Monk and the Swansea situation Monk breached his contract by getting his agent to sound out Swansea on a possible return, football is a village and I can guarantee that at 90% of managerial changes, particularly mid-season are done deals, if Bournemouth wanted Wilder they'd have made an approach via a 3rd party, if Wilder has been doing a Monk then he'll go, Swansea weren't interested in having him back but he continued to try any push it.

As for Mowbray, he knows a mate of mine very well and has never said anything negative to him about Wilder, in fact quite the opposite nothing but praise for him as a manager and a person, he wasn't so complimentary about a previous incumbent in the role.

Wilder needs to improve results and fast, he's had one bad season at a club in 20 years of management which for me, a track record like that, should buy him a little bit of time, from what I've seen of us this season we're in a false position, too many missed chances and defensive errors are undoing decent spells of controlled play.

The results will come, or he will go, October is an important month and if Wilder is ambitious then he needs to work on fixing the problems that have become apparent over the opening weeks of the season, settled defence, more energy in midfield and better conversion rates from the strikers.

Down to 1/4 from 25/1, assume people have been daft enough to put money on based on a Twitter rumour

Fools and their money.

Managerial job odds are an absolute joke. Pick a random selection of recently out of work top flight managers plus a Twitter rumour, add Big Sam and Harry Redknapp. Throwing darts blindfold, they’re always like this. As if half of those would even be considered.

To be honest the most likely people to get the Bournemouth job are, in order, Gary O’Neil, unknown Scandinavian, or I could see Brendan Rodgers taking it.
