He's been bang average wherever he's been.
His stock was only high because he scored a lot of goals for a CB.
As a defender, he really was poor.

Worse than Monk in my opinion.
Monk was inexperienced from the start of the season and still managed the amount of points as Pulis. Coming in and dropping £7m on Flint and £8m on Saville! unforgivable!

We had 2 supposed goal scoring centre backs and someone who had a reputation as a set piece expert - how did we **** that up?
It seemed to me that both Ayala and Flint just kept getting in each others way at corners. Other teams didn't need to mark them, they did that to each other!

Least Strachan had the decency to resign. Pulis has stole a living for years off the back of cheating at Stoke.

Ayala was the far superior player.
We miss someone with his aggression in both boxes.
Fry still seems a bit soft for a big lad and gets roughed up regularly. Not sure you can teach aggressiveness?
