Dear me. Where to start with this. Not saying Southgate isn't a good manager, he's done well, more than any other manager in a long time. But the type of football sends me to sleep, the players we have at our disposal we should be steam rolling teams who are far inferior to us, alot of games we kind of just get by, that's my opinion and I won't be swayed, watching England is boring, that said if we win the Euros playing boring football I'm all for it, just wish we would play with abit of excitement that gets fans cheering.
With Southgate one thing England have without doubt developed is the ability to comfortably beat the teams they should. Gone are the days of huffing and puffing against Iceland, Slovenia, Algeria (all in tournaments of recent memory.
At the last World Cup England dispatched Wales and Senegal 3-0 with ease. Playing football that was modern with controlled possession and chances created.
I seriously wonder about some England fans.
