Darlo escape

I've been keeping an eye on Spennymoor since Spike went there. They've really turned the corner and put a good run together.
 
Steve Watson (ex Newcastle, Everton and Villa) doing a great job. In with a good shout of staying up now.
 
Absolutely battered Scunthorpe last night - only one side in the match all evening. Considering where Scunthorpe are in the table, I've never seen such a one sided affair.
 
Brilliant unexpected result last night. Annoying that 5 wins from 6 has only see us get within arms reach of the teams above. Once games even out we could be cut adrift again. The awful 1st 2/3rds of the season has left no room for error. Massive game against Spenny on saturday with the 2 form sides in the league.
 
Great win tonight. Joe Gibson signed on loan from Boro today and got a few minutes run out at the end.
Out of relegation zone for 1st time since August. We were going down without so much as a whimper 3 months ago. 6 wins from last 8 has given us a real chance. Winnable home game against Peterborough sports on Saturday, then a massive one away to Rushall who sit one place below.

Also glad to see that York looks like beating the drop.
It's not certain yet, but 2 of the teams who could overtake them play each other in the final match.

Yeah, fingers crossed for York. York/Harrogate is as far south as my NE teams interest goes.

Carlisle/Harrogate/York/Scarborough and the Scottish Border form the arbitrary boundary in my mind of the teams I don’t wish ill on (except the Mackems and Mags obvs)
 
Weird how Look North cover Harrogate when they’re half an hour from Leeds. York can understand and they barely mention Pools!

They’re just a rich man’s plaything anyway.
