Hull Match Tonight

Anything but a win definitely ends our season this time, but Hull still have their game in hand to cling to.

They do but they still have Ipswich at home and Coventry away to play after us.
They will see tonight as a must win game I'm sure.

I just want us to go there and do ourselves justice because if we do that then we will batter hull.

When they came to the riverside they were ugly, sweaty and parked the bus type of side, getting two breakaway goals in the second half and were hugging each other in a massive huddle in the 6 yard box when the final whistle blew - like they’d won the cup - coming to boro and winning.

They were bang average and our injuries caught up with us. They will play the same way tonight, sit back like shyte houses at their home ground and try and hit us on the break.
Come on boro.

All the pressure is on them in my opinion, they have been pushing all season whereas it feels like a bit of a miracle that we still have anything to play for.

What a strange and bitter thing to write, don't your fans and players ever celebrate an away win when you have been under the cosh and come away with an unlikely 3 points?

Just can’t see Boro winning tonight but obviously hope I’m wrong. Hull have some great players and will know a win gets them back in contention seriously.

Is it on the Red Button?

We played them off the park in the reverse fixture, it was just one of those typical defeats where one team steals a result.

We've had plenty ourself, obviously.

From that starting 11 that day, there's only Crooks and Dael Fry missing.
I doubt Fry would make a difference either way.
Crooks could have done something but ah well.

They won’t play like that tonight, have some grace in defeat footy legs.

Hull are a very good side.

I thought Hull were much better than us at the Riverside.... goal down early (Memory Alert) they used their subs to great effect IIRC... .. still expect us to win tonight obvs

No chance. Boro totally controlled the match. It was heading for a very comfortable 1 - 0 when Hull scored two out of nowhere.

Mauled by the Tigers is cringeworthy, so we have to win, no two ways about it. UTB
I can still remember when they sang it and a lot of their fans were doing the "clawing" action when they took the lead at the Riverside last season.

I know "What the fuccking hell was that" is a well worn song, but crikey, it was never more warranted.

Probably more pressure on Hull as it feels like they have put a lot on the line in term of FFP or PSR or whatever it's called. Their owner isn't wealthy by modern football standards either so it has a bit of a feeling of this season or potentially doing a Reading for Hull, in my opinion.

Maybe it's a crossover from their RL teams? It definitely is very funny and looks out of place adults doing it.

It's cringey to watch, like watching the office or curb your enthusiasm, teeth grindingly cringey but each to their own.

Only a win works for either team really I am sure both will play their normal game to start but will be interesting to see what happens after the 1st goal goes in or more likely we get to 70 mins at 0-0
