Atmosphere

It’s been a strange atmosphere all season. I sit in the South West Corner, so close to the South Stand and Red Faction. What has been clear to me is most of the time the rest of the South hardly join in with Red Faction.

As it happens, the new LL chant yesterday was probably the first time all season a chant has got a bit of traction. I expect that to develop in the way the chant for the Premier League Manager did.

I think we barely touched the ball in the first three minutes while they just passed it sideways and made no attempt to get to our goal.

The Swansea manager could look at it positively and say that they killed the atmosphere with their boring tactics. As for a charity match, they were the one giving things away to us, so thanks for the three points and we'll continue talking about EastEnders in the stands. 👍

Strange for the opposition manager to complain about the atmosphere away from home, I thought away mangers want to quieten down the home fans.

Must be a new tactic in the latest coaching manuals. Get the home crowds up for it. Or maybe he’s deflecting from a pretty abject performance by his team.

Still, the 200 or so away fans tried to get things going.

Agree. Bizarre complaint. Surely tongue in cheek or sour grapes. Why do Swansea managers always perform like plums after they play us. Memories of Cooper.

Shots, crosses, corners, on the rare occasion a goal, creates a good atmosphere. This boring, playing from the back, 20 passes across the half way line sideways and backwards kills the atmosphere. Two of the best teams in the country, Man City and Arsenal played last week. It was dire.

Correct. It’s a two way thing. Give the crows something to shout about and the atmosphere develops. Our home form this season has given very little to shout about.

so lets get this straight... we concede a load of goals leading to a lot of complaints we're too open and need to tighten up.. we tighten up.. 5 clean sheets in 7.. now its too boring and killing the atmosphere

just cant win with fans like this
