What was your favourite arcade machine

What was rhe first arcade game people can remember playing?

The bar at Teesside Airport (of all places) had a Computer Space machine (generally accepted as the first proper arcade machine) so that was my first experience.

My next memory was my dad taking me to Crow's Fair at Eston Rec to let me play on the new craze that was Space Invaders.

Track & Field, Loftus baths circa 1988

There was a great one called Gauntlet in the 80s; first one I recall that allowed more than 2 people to play together.

There was also a Japanese-made football game (possibly called Super Sidekicks, but I may be wrong about that). It was clearly made by people who hadn't watched too much football: it was only really possible to score with an overhead kick or a diving header. Anyway, it was ancient by the time I went to uni, but I happened to find it on an old machine there. I did manage to complete it!
Gauntlet was a great game. I remember the stress of having death chase you, or catching "it" which meant all enemies flooded towards you - think that was in gauntlet 2

anyone visited this place before?

No, we did a similar one in Liverpool though. Was £15 in and while they had some original machines, many were emulators and buttons or sticks weren't working properly so it was a bit gash

It was a choice of 2 for me. Kung Fu Master and Track N Field.

Holiday camp in Lincolnshire as a 13/14 year old, so 88-89 ish absolutely unbeatable on Track N Field, all of the top scores/world records in every event, every day.

I've been going here recently, great fun. Some of the machines an their buttons need a bit of attention, but on the whole, lots of fun!

Went to one in Phili a couple of years ago, called Barcade, was superb, all original machines and quality beers....I've yet to find a place good over here.
