England's flag is the only one to have a cross of that style as the only feature of any widely recognised country in the world.
There are dozens upon dozens of tricolours for national flags, the colours are essential to making it recognisably French.
The only national flags that are even the same style of cross which central to the design is Georgia's and there's no mixing them up because of the 4 additional crosses around it, and Northern Ireland's unofficial Ulster Banner with the red right hand in the centre is distinctive, regardless of colours, and that's not an official flag.
The Nordic style crosses are similar, but they're still totally distinct in design to the St. George's Cross.

If they were all black and white, or even all rainbow coloured, anyone with a clue would be able to easily pick the top one as the England flag.
My thoughts too.
