Shrinkflation

Just bought a multi-pack of Gold bars as I haven't had a bar in years. They are hilariously small. Wagon wheels too!

How far will shrinkflation go, surely there's a point at which we riot?

I wouldn't mind if it was as a means to control portion sizes and the prices were reduced to reflect that.
Sadly it's just a way to raise the unit cost and make profits.

Cadbury's Big One no longer sticks out a mile.
In fact it doesn't stick out at all. But if it did it would probably be tiny. Definitely not 1.6km. (Although as a kid I always suspected that was an exaggeration anyway).

I’m sure a normal pork pie from a butcher’s has shrunk.
Perhaps they are making them with mini pigs.

To be fair, the 4 for £1 packs, or even £1.50 seem like good value to me. Even if the individual bars are smaller than once upon a time.
