Total dog$hit.

We're missing many players tbh, Howson, Hackney - in his proper position, Izzy, Bangura even, the list just goes on and on (yeah, I know no one in particular is to blame for THAT)

However those that step into the void should at least be able to 'do a job' but it seems too many of them actually can't, unless they're playing one of the big guns strangely enough.

I bet some of our youngsters would do a better job than most of the first team!!!
 
That stupid aimless high sliced pass by Engel in the last 5 minutes, for no reason and right across the 18 yard box sums up a stupidy and lack of footballing skill prevelant in about 6 players in that team today. I didnt count them but if Obrien made 30 passes today 26 of them went to a Stoke player. Most of the major mistakes ive seen today have come from players who were not here last season. They are bringing the better players from last season down to their level. We have brought and bought in total rubbish this season. Buy cheap buy twice !
 
Players seem to only want to turn up during the big games (Villa, Chelsea at home, Leicester), coaching staff only bother to prepare for those games as well.

Going out there today after last week, and the week before that and just expecting to be able to play the exact same way and it will all change?

Pathetic from Carrick, pathetic from the players. Pathetic from the club all round.

They can f*** right off if they think they can just sleepwalk through the rest of the season.

What formation? We have no left backs, no pace throughout the team, we can't pass under pressure, we have no strikers, pedestrian attacking midfield players. Can't score from corners or set plays, concede from set plays. Changing formations isn't the problem, our poor recruitment & lack of ambition has resulted in this team.
 
I swear if Carrick says 'the lads are in a good place`or some similar guff.

I may as well cut and paste this for next week after QPR. They will almost certainly beat us.

5 at the back 2 in the middle of midfield hasnt worked for months
 
I've just nipped back on after hearing the BBC 1's reporter talking about our game. He described City's goals and then said the Boro looked pretty in possession but lacked cutting edge.

I'm usually positive but even I never saw anything pretty about our football today. 🤣🤣 🤣
