Right then, where does the blame lie?

Injuries havent helped. Policy of playing out at all times is a flaw. We dont have players to do it. So blame carrick for encouraging that.
Did Keiron Scott have an injury that prevented him from signing a right winger or a striker on loan?

Maybe an injury caused the shyty season ticket renewals?

Because you are talking rubbish. Almost 12 months ago to the day we took Sheff. Utd. to the cleaners. Today you say we are two players away from completing the jigsaw. You're delusional man.
I’m a very optimistic, glass half full supporter.

I think we are close.

There doesn’t need to be any blame. We’re going through a rough patch. Last season was largely brilliant and this one has been very frustrating. It’s just football.
It's not just that though is it. You make your own season through recruitment.

Last season we brought in Archer and Ramsey to push for top 6, without selling any key players, we pushed on. This season we sell Rogers, swap with Azaz - fair enough in my eyes. But no January springboard.

All of our strikers are injured and we're left with a poor goalkeeper - surely some short term input was needed?

It’s too easy to blame just one factor. There’s so many variables within a season that can affect results.

A disappointing season doesn’t have to lead to a witch hunt. This is very much a transitional season where we hoped we could threaten top 6. It hasn’t happened for swathes of reasons.

Injuries to key players and strikers haven’t helped. I still think we’ve got a base and core of a squad that we can keep next season.

Likewise: there’s some deadwood who need cleaning out.

The risk is what happens with Hackney / McGree. Losing those 2 would be a significant set back and would give us a rebuild job on par with this season potentially, so we’d be back to square one.

First off, injuries have hindered us. However, I don’t think we have adapted and with the personal, maybe have gone a bit Karanka until we actually got forwards who can score a lot? I liked how we set up against villa and Chelsea at home.

I would argue Carricks stubbornness has cost him 14 league defeats possibly. Right now we are sinking without trace. His philosophy is admirable and tonight we dominated, but again, lightweight in attack and with the ginger ho approach we will always concede. Conceding is a problem when you don’t score more than you let in.

Ok maybe blame is a bit childish but there has to be some accountability. Yes, the world isn’t going to end as we are currently a very average championship team. But we fans and Gibson who puts the most he’s allowed to in to the club, are paying a lot of money for not much at the minute.

Something has gone wrong

Something has gone wrong, a ridiculous number of injuries in literally every position. We can't build any consistency or momentum, there's no partnerships in key areas and many struggling as a result.

We also can't just buy our way through either as all those injured players still need paying. I've never seen a season like this and no championship team would be able to do any better in the same position.

Starts at the top. He's letting himself be conned by bullshitters who talk of success while making lots of money.
I'm trying to get a meeting with him cos I think he may be interested in my magic beans .

Why does there need to be blame? This is the game we all love and it isn’t always sunshine and rainbows it’s the highs and the lows.

We are so close to being a top side.
He strikes again!
As I said the other day, Gibson could drive his car through your living room and you'd come on here to defend him

Like Hugill playing the clown….😡

Back to the recruitment too many dudds not enough quality/experience signed.

Thankfully the Rogers sale will cover the cost of our summer signings Most which have been underwhelming and need moving on

Back to the drawing board and we need a much better plan in the summer

We lost Archer and Akpom and replaced them with Latte Lath. That's it. How could they be naive/incompetent enough to think that could be enough.
Perfectly put thats exactly right we were destined to failure with that decision

We lost a 28 goal player and haven’t replaced him. Injuries have also been a huge factor, which has prevented the team gathering any momentum.

It’s been a very frustrating season, but one I’d pretty much written off a few weeks ago. We haven’t been consistent and teams like do not gain promotion, never mind play offs.
