I might be in the minority but I thought the referee ref'd the game quite well. He didn't fall for some of the nonsense on both sides and let things mostly play out.

he is an aggressive coach... I like that he goes for it. Hindsight and tradition are wonderful, but if he ties it up and loses in OT, you can argue he had a chance to win it from 2 yards out so why not try to do it. Plus it looks like the refs made a possible error

It was a great coup signing him, and I enjoyed his time here in a fruitful period for the club in general. However, I may be in the minority but I can count on one hand the number of games he really stood out and ran the game. He had some good moments but most players do.
