Tomorrow on Absolute Radio. He is getting divorced, which may have an impact on the tone of the album I guess.

Just posting for those interested. (People who aren't interested need not reply).

Oasis reunion on the cards then.. that’ll soon clear the divorce bill.

Hmm. Suppose it depends how much he holds Liam responsible for the divorce, clearly she hated him from day one and he didn't help anything.

But yeah, its one very quick way of settling the bill, as it was for Ian Brown.

The penny might have dropped and he might have seen whatever Liam sees in her..

Not impossible I suppose. The odds will definitely have shortened I guess.

Personally, I'm not really in favour of it. I am an undisputed Oasis super-fan but anything they do now together will feel like its only being done for the dosh. I'd prefer them both to make the music they want to make. With or without Sara, Liam and Noel are hardly a matchmade in heaven!

Interesting. Didn't really like the last album much. His first is still his best, post Oasis in my opinion.

Liam seems to be on a high lately, I thought his last album was a banger.
His third album? I was indifferent. But I've much preferred Noel's solo career to Liam's, although Liam has surprised me to a degree (Beady Eye was shambolic imho).

But I'd also say I had to really give Noel's last album a lot of chances to like it. I preferred his two prior albums.

That said, Blackstar Dancing and This is the Place were pretty good EPs more recently, I'd say. The new album will be very intriguing as he hasn't released one since 2017.

That was just a wind up though. The scissors don't answer back, either.
He’s still persisting with it. I was very excited when they spilt, thinking Noel would be putting out traditional B-side tracks over and over. After the first album and seeing him solo five times, I have been left disappointed.

Makes me laugh how much he begrudges how many people attend his gigs to hear Oasis tracks. How the atmosphere jumps for those tracks and dwindles for his new stuff.

I think Liam's relationship with her contributed massively to the breakdown in Liam and Noel's relationship. I can remember Noel doing an interview with Zane a few years back and Zane told Noel that Liam had been really complimentary about him when Zane had interviewed him.

Noel shut him down and said it meant nothing to him, as he would be on Twitter saying the complete opposite, playing to the masses, and then Noel said when it matters and he's abusing my wife and daughter it's different. It surprised me as up until that point I had wondered whether both of them had manufactured the break-up to some extent but it was obvious by Noel's tone that there is a lot of genuine bad feeling there.

Whether that will change now that Noel and his wife have seperated remains to be seen. I suppose it depends on whether their break-up was amicable or not.

Agreed, it was a brilliant album. His different style of singing is really working for him.

Oasis reunion tour is surely happening soon though. One last pay day.

I think the Ariana grande concert confirmed just how acrimonious the split was as this was their city hurting like never before.

Liam as we know flew in especially to play but Noel never bothered.

If ever there was ever going to be an oasis reunion on pure emotion alone then this was the time.

Yeah and I remember Liam took to twitter at the time to criticise Noel for not making the effort, although I didn't think he should have been using that event to point score to be fair.

Why have you watched him 5 times if you're not keen?

His first two albums were almost exactly as I expected, certainly wasn't disappointed. Was a bit with the last one, but still liked a few tracks.

He's not really persisting with the scissor playing! The lass is a vocalist.

The snippets that have been released so far suggest some acrimonious feeling. I've been listening to Noel's podcast with Matt Morgan the last few years and it was clear during the peak of covid etc that all was not well. This stopped last summer sometime, presumably around the time they decided to split. I imagine the divorce was agreed months ago and is only coming out now before his album launch gets going.

Very true. Liam played a PR blinder that day, wearing a bright orange parka and using the opportunity to air some new music he has subsequently profited from massively.

Fair to say his new lass (Debbie) has been instrumental in his rebirth as a relevant public figure, I think. She's a PR guru.
