Any manager who is successful at a club like ours will inevitably move on to bigger and better things. I don't think anyone would begrudge them doing it either.
But there's a right way to go about it and a wrong way. Doing it halfway through a season during a promotion push is a bit out of order. I think if you've improved a team though and/or achieved something tangible (promotion, consolidation in a higher league, cup win) then fair enough if they want to go and take step up.
If Carrick carries on like this and gets us into the play-offs sides will come sniffing though. Very very early days yet.
