Stake in the ground, line in the sand, nail to the wall. coat off, gloves off.. name on flag.
Easier said than done, but can anyone even say it?
Who do you bring in for manager to replace Chris Wilder, to save us from relegation, to get us promoted whist keeping costs down and keeping fans happy?
Who do you go for? How do you play? Who do you play? What players do you go for in January?
Spinning plates, reading fortunes, telling the future.
Obviously Bernie Slaven has all the right ideas, sell us off to a Chinese/Arabic consortium, bring in someone like Pep Guardiola. have a five, ten year plan, move the training ground up to Scotland, wear Green and white hoops.. etc etc etc
Everyone in the Championship is in the same boat, differences are paper thin, any team can beat any team, inconsistency is the only constant.
'Schrodinger's Manager' - one who has already failed is sacked one year into the future, yet is also the most obvious candidate with huge potential and is better than the rest..
