Good start for Mowbray

behave yerself , they will still be tawts on monday , but currently performing better than we are at the moment . or are we not allowed to say that ?. I hope we d*ck em , but i think they come here flying with confidence we dont have at the minute ..........apologies for not seeing reality of the table at the moment !!!!!
I wasn’t referring to just this thread.

They will be around the playoffs, they have a great young squad and have done very well in the window. Not sure what Neil was thinking leaving them for Stoke

more money, longer contract, bailed out of Sunderland when his stock was still high.

He is going to do well with that side. They're incredibly lucky to have picked him up after Neil left for Stoke, to be honest.

I wouldn't be surprised if he has Mackems finish above Stoke and they'll have the last laugh over Neil.

I am dreading facing them tbh. Hate to say it but I am. Had they appointed anyone but Mogga I wouldn't be as bothered but it just makes it feel all that much worse the thought of losing to them:ROFLMAO:, as much as I wish him well there otherwise.

I think we're going to struggle to finish above either of the above sides as well.

They're feeling confident ahead or our game.

I've bookmarked the thread anyway, just in case.

They are full of confidence and rightly so they are adapting well.

This game at our place has come at a perfect time for them really.

As CW puts it our shirts will be alot heavier than theirs on Monday night

But longer term he has far more chance building something good and possible promotion with Sunderland than Stoke. Sunderland have so much potential

Discounting attendances, what potential does Sunderland have that Stoke doesn't and why did he have far more chance of achieving it with Sunderland?

That's not even a dig at Sunderland, it's a genuine question about your reasoning.

Good young squad, cat 1 academy, owners clearly willing to spend and could probably will get 40k fans every week in the championship with a bit of success. Would fully expect them to be back in the premier league before Stoke are

Stoke also have a category 1 academy, and owners who are very willing to spend.

Their squad's average age is only 25.2 compared to Sunderland's 24.6 too.

They were getting 30-40k in League One, with more financial backing than any other team, and they were still regularly being beaten to promotion by relative minnows.

He might have seen a potential bump in the road ahead for Sunderland? His stock was high and it stays high. Total Mourinho move!

Looking at Stokes transfer history it doesn’t look like they have spent anything much in years.

The crowds are always going to be a significant factor to get around ffp too, can’t see a single thing that Stoke have that Sunderland don’t

True, but Stoke makes no sense. They haven’t improved for years and have been around lower mid table not spending much money and a fairly average squad. I could understand it if one of the big clubs had moved for him but I really can’t see this as a sensible move

Stoke have one of the super wealthy owners and are willing to spend. They’ve just got away with FFP murder and disgracefully have a clean slate with that now too.
The Chief Exec of Bet 365 pays as much in UK tax every year as Gibson is worth in total.
