New Keeper Alert

this would be a huge signing. can understand some of the reluctance after his cup display but he is a quality keeper. as has been said you have to be, to be City no.2
 
Do we start again before the world cup ends? What's the rules on this if they are still in. We have to do without?

Yeah I think there is a chance of that happening unfortunately. Obviously depending on how far they get
 
Some Boro fans have been negative because the current Man City No2 made a couple of mistakes on TV.

They 'don't fancy' the current City No2 and USA No1. Also say he's cr*p with his feet based on one match on TV. Do people really think a City No2 will he hopeless with his feet? I imagine it's all they do in training.

A few didn't rate Heaton because he hadn't played for 2 years. Current UTD No3 and in and around England squad for years.

Darlow? Nope he's the mags No2 and they have fans who say he's sh*t.

We are a championship club. We've just had a season of Lumley. Yet many 'don't rate' any other the above for various reasons. A hard crowd to please 😂

Hahaha people making out like I said he’s like prime Buffon all I’m saying is the teams he’s linked with, his footballing education, the fact he starts for his country. Years of being coached and playing with the best and being trusted to play certain games. It’s surely a good signing for us.
 
Here in the US, there's been a lot of negatives surrounding Zak, even to the point of dropping him from the WC team. Do I think he'll be an upgrade on what we had last season, definitely but I'm concerned that there's been a huge drop off in his keeping from where he was a few years ago. It maybe a blip on his form, but just the thought that Citeh are willing to offload him to a championship side and not another Premier league as such is a bit worrying.

For any player not playing regularly it will effect form, hopefully first team football and the experience of fettis will benefit him.

Also maybe to prove his doubters back home is the reason hes here and not in and out at a prem club
