The lad at 5-A-Side who doesn't like taking his turn in goal (is always awful) would have saved those too :LOL:
 
I am not trying to be disrespectful to anyone on here and sound a know it all but for people who haven’t heard of him and are questioning this please don’t worry.. This would be the best loan signing we will make in years. Honestly can’t believe we have a chance of this, hope we pull it off.
 
There were some good saves in that vid mind, lets hope it pans out.

My thinking is American's like sports which use the hands, so if anyone on their footy team is going to be ok, it's the keeper.

Howard, Guzan, Friedel and Keller were all quite good, and much better than what we had last year, so this could be a good signing.
 
Could transform how play this. His short and long passing is really good and he’s learned from the best under Ederson. If city loan him to us that shows how well thought of Wilder is in the game.

The USA has produced a lot of top quality ‘keepers in the past 30 years. Even going as far back as Tony Meola. I know what people are thinking, but we really need to move on from Brad Guzan. He’s the exception that proves the rule. This lad Steffen looks as big as the great Zeljko Kalac.
 
Some people will point to the semi-final mistake he made regardless of anything else, but personally think this would be a great signing. Pep had him as a number 2 for a reason, we've seen him ship out previously well regarded keepers in the past because he doesn't rate them.

He's a proper sweeper keeper and that's exactly what Wilder wanted out of Lumley but it just wasn't happening.

This one actually excites me so much more than the likes of Darlow, Foster, Butland etc.
 
I'll give anyone a chance who comes into the club, I trust wilder. I personally haven't seen anything of the keeper so it would be harsh to make a judgement on him based on a video from the FA cup. Hope it works out

Have City signed another keeper? Genuinely cannot see how they would let this lad go, especially after Bazuna signed for Southampton. Looked a really good keeper the few occasions ive seen him.

Also worth mentioning he is USA no 1 ahead of the lad Arsenal have just signed for a 6 or 7 mill.
