PMQs was a bit 'meh' today. I get that Starmer needs to avoid anything that would rally Tory MP's against the opposition, but he went nowhere near exposing Johnson. It was a scrappy victory, yet honestly, I am getting sick and tired of Starmer not hitting Johnson with knockout blows.
Also, it is about time Labour start advocating policies, ones that the Tories will never nick from them e.g. proportional representation, an elected H.O.L, right to recall MP's etc. Almost every interview now with a shadow cabinet member is solely about the windfall tax, and scrapping the NI rise. I don't know what is going on at Labour Party HQ, but it is about time they get bold with policies and stop relying on the government shooting themselves in the foot. Labour should be minimum 15-20 points ahead.
