He would have been active a lot later than that. The first time I remember him arriving on the old board it was during the campaigning for the Middlesbrough by-election in 2012. He was plugging Ben Houchen against Andy Macdonald. It was clear why he was on the Board and his obvious electioneering was transparent. He also came across as considerable niaive and very immature. He was around for about 4-5 years.

I had my suspicions that he was posting on the new board under a new user name for a while but I think that was just another @rsehole with equally abhorrent opinions and that poster has been banned now and rightly so.

He used to post some total bull and when we caught him out he said it wasn't him and he shared his username with another person. The other person was never identified.

So am I mate. She was just incredibly possessive and paranoid and was always convinced that I was cheating on her. If I even smiled at or spoke to one of her friends she'd go crazy about it when we got back to the house. All I could really do is disarm her and grab her wrists and try to calm her down. She was always apologetic afterwards. But then the same thing would happen again the next time we went out.

Hopefully he serves a good part of the full sentence.
It got to the point where I'd always copy and paste his post when replying, such was his propensity for editing his vile comments.
On a broader note, some of his views were no different to those coming from the new breed of Tories and yet people on here are critical of the criticism the Tories get.
 
I have said this before but about 20 years ago I was on the outside of a p file legal case. But the police had to show me some of the evidence. He was found guilty, then 4 years later attempted an insurance fraud.


After the case I went into a very dark place for almost a year. The black cloud took over. I could not drive over bridges, or go on holiday. My wife was a rock.

Probably why I could not open the video.

My mate went through a similar experience.
She crept up behind him and whacked on the head with a poker
She pulled a full wardrobe onto him while he was asleep in bed
She stabbed him under the arm

And still he would back to her

But the final straw was she went looking for him after he didn't get home in time after a night out. They passed each other in taxis and when he got home she wasn't there so he went back out again.
He got back home a 2 and when he opened the door she was sat on the stairs with her dads loaded shotgun.
Took him ages to persuade her not to pull the trigger.

Now my mate is wordly wise, of sound mind and a really nice guy. She just got right into his head and brainwashed him. It nearly cost him his life.

Awful story that and I hope you are ok now!

Can I just ask - was it a gradual progression of violence - did it start with something small and then get worse?
I've known a couple of people badly injured through domestic abuse and they found it hard to get out of that cycle.
