Smoggydave 12 years.

I'm sorry, what?

When he was Mayor, Dave Budd highlighted the town centre's Bottle of Notes being lit up red in support of World Aids Day and those who were HIV +.

In response nobhead said "Thank you for your support :) From someone who is HIV positive, it means a lot for political leaders to support #WorldAIDSDay

There was a thread about something that happened to a little disabled girl (I can't remember the details)
The nonces reply was "OH BOO FCUKING HOO!!" and then reeled off his persecution history.

Should have been 112 years.

He was always spouting off about James Wharton IIRC and saying how tremendous he is and a great fella.

Also, didn't he say we had a lucky escape with Damia Abella not signing for us even though he'd signed for us weeks prior. The idiot didn't have a clue about footy and simply used to board to promote pro-Tory and anti-Labour rubbish.

As soon as you pulled him up on it he'd accuse you of picking on him because he's gay.

A particularly vile individiual.

Interesting that during the trial it’s said he took him to a football game, I bet it wasn’t us as he never once mentioned or even commented on the boro not even a token reference.

He did though mention sunlun a lot.
Weird fellow but I think we are all shocked at just how weird and sick he was.

He clearly wasn’t “right” but wow!

Don't remember the Bottle part - he definitely stated he was HIV+ on the old board - probably a lie to gain sympathy after all the trolling and extreme views...

Pretty sure if he was it would have been reported in the press re his crimes

He once wrote a post about George Galloway. I pointed out that I knew someone who worked for him and would pass it on (I also took a screenshot) and that George loved a good sue. He disappeared for a fortnight 😀.

Who used to defend him on here?

He had multiple usernames didn't he, so he was just 'defending himself' on threads surely?
I don't remember anyone defending him. I just tried not to respond to him because if I'd told him what I really thought of him and his despicable views I'd have probably got a bit too carried away and ended up getting banned myself. I know that you shouldn't judge people on their appearance but I have to say that if someone asked me to sketch a nonce he's exactly what I would draw.

He is and was a delusional f*ckwit.

Daughter of an ex neighbour is a forensic psychologist who worked for the home office in the prison service. She was saying that her daughter said the denial or inability to recognise any wrongdoing is common with in these kind of cases. Can’t imagine being in the same room with one of these people. But, that’s her job.

When I used to teach in prisons I remember a fella who was starting a life sentence for murdering his wife who was convinced of his innocence. It was her fault she'd died. She did it to get at him.

A lot of abusers convince themselves that they're the real victim. I've been in an abusive relationship and I'm pretty sure that she still thinks that she didn't do anything wrong. It was my fault that she used to beat the crap out of me and come at me with kitchen knives and threw that glass ashtray at my head. Still got the scar from that one.

Not to get too deep on here but isn’t one of the conditions of early release an reduced sentence to show remorse and admission of guilt for your crimes.

12 years seems light when the article mentions repeated rape of a minor and then trying to buy his silence.

Trying to buy his silence also suggests he knows what he’s done is wrong, yet he can’t bring himself to admit it to others.
