I imagine so. If I were Scottish I\d be screaming out for it. I might even ask sturgeon if we can move the border down to the Tees!given how London centric the Westminster govt have been During this crisis with wales also going their own way on advising their population.
is Scottish independence now all but a formality ?
Even without the oil revenue (which has been falling for some time) the Scottish economy is a net contributor to the UK exchequer. Why, have they found someone to pay for NHS Scotland? Has Brent crude just shot up in price?
I think the North of England would be better off as part of a "Northern Britain" than as an embarrassing adjunct to Southern England. My beliefs more closely resonate with our cousins form north of the border than the residents of London and the South East in particular.I might even ask sturgeon if we can move the border down to the Tees!
Despite Cameron saying that they will be equal partners of the Union. And despite Cameron promising a referendum if something significant happened.No. They need a referendum which this government has said won’t be happening. Unfortunately where stuck with them.
You know you should not raise false hope. But no harm in dreaming.

Or maybe they will go for Belgian visas when the EU turn them down for membership.
Oh thanks for the info. And what does the GB in GBP stand for ?English pounds?
The symbol is GBP, and Scotland can use it as an independent country. The Euro would be a better currency though for economic and financial service reasons.
