Just watching Cummings live on TV

If he does survive this I am sure something else will get him in the end. Someone with his shear arrogance will not last long.

The press smell blood and a big scalp. History tells us When an individual becomes a bigger issue than the actual story itself there is old one outcome.,

Infamy Infamy you’ve all got it infamy. You should all sympathise with poor lickle Dom :D

Yesterday I predicted he would luckily have just happened to have had a full tank of fuel. He is a well lucky man cos he did. He stated he drove for 30 mins each way at Barny Castle to check if he was ok to drive. Wow, just wow. What if he wasn’t. If he had doubts he should never have been behind a wheel in the first place. He put road users at risk by doing so. Total lie for me.

He played the security card at his Primary address. I am sure there are people who deal with these things for such people. He didn’t arrange anything in advance of his security at Durham after all.

His memory for such an important man was wooly. He could not remember definitely stopping on the way back for sure. His failure and waffle saying that he acted reasonably was a joke. He used his priviliged position to do what he wanted. This son issue is a red herring, a smokescreen, an attempt to pull at the heart strings of mothers everywhere. He admitted childcare was not an issue as it turned out. Driving around in a car is not permitted for others With covid, how can that be a part of self isolation.

All about what ifs, well Dominic we all have what ifs In our lives, but we followed what Ministers told us We had to do. I seem to remember Matt Hancock saying the rules are not optional or something similar.

I thought he was just trying to think what he had said and was getting in a muddle as questions went on. He said all the right words, not necessarily in the right order.

Terrible car crash for me
Well put mate 👍

So can we all go and socially distance talk to elderly parents on their property?
My nieces have been talking to my parents for weeks. They stand at the garden gate and talk to them while my parents stand in the door of their bungalow. Generally after dropping off groceries. Though on occasion they pop round to make sure they're all right (my parents are know to downplay issues). Can we expect a visit from the local Stasi now I've admitted this?

The first thing I did after hearing about the lock down was discuss with my son and his wife about caring for their 15 month old if anything happened to them. And about who would look after my dog in case I got sick. Surely I'm not the only one who has discussed this kind of thing? Or are you all just winging it and hoping for the best?

br14 I have already addressed this in the main thread about this. My son was hospitalised with 4 children. Had my daughter in law become ill one of the grandparents would have travelled to Bristol to childmind, IF IT BECAME NECCESSARY. Neither of the cummins' needed hospitalisation at any time.

Your tory apologies are, frankly, rididculous.

That's exactly what Cummings was trying to avoid.

It's no use waiting till someone is hospitalised at that point the child is likely to be taken into care. Cummings actually should have been hospitalised, but since he was still conscious they decided against it. His O2 was 92. And why would they ask their relatives to drive to London and take all kinds of risks (where would they do shopping in a strange location for example) when they had a perfectly good solution in Durham?

By the way, at the risk of causing worry, Covid-19 can take you from doing ok to being dead in a matter of hours. So don't leave anything to chance for your families.

I still think he took the best option in his situation. It reduced the risk to people outside his family. And reduced the risk for his family also, in the event he needed help.

Then you will believe anything br14. he had options and we all know it. In the fullness of time Cummind will have to go and rightly so.
