Ever heard of answering the question:

Let me break it down clearly for you: this of us who love the U.K. are angry that leavers have damaged and isolated the country. Whenever we bring up the ways the country has been damaged leavers only defence is to tell us to stop talking about it.

We constantly tell you that we will stop talking about it when people explain to us that it is worth it for x or y reasons. You claim to have these reasons yet instead of sharing them you respond with snide and sarcastic remarks that doubtless you think makes you “clever”

So we can assume one of two things: you actually want to have the arguments and want to be insulted for what you say or you really, truly have no reason to still support Brexit. We can only assume which it is. I suspect very strongly it’s the latter. If so, you do realise it’s fine to admit you don’t know you know?

Your first sentence is the clear issue here. People are still supporting a process that has aided a war. It’s frightening. And even more frightening that, as this thread is proving, they don’t actually know WHY

That came long after you accused me of insulting you and was mentioned that it was a pop at anyone who voted Tory - like I said, I haven't insulted you, you aren't the only person to vote Tory, you have taken umbrage to the fact that I have asked a question to those that have helped to scupper our country.

Funny thing is the arguments could stop if your first question was actually answered. We are six pages in and it hasn’t been. As I keep pointing out it’s very revealing that leavers can’t answer what is a seemingly simple question

As I said yesterday I’m genuinely exasperated by seeing that some people don’t regret voting Brexit. I know I won’t get this because I know it’s something they can’t answer, but I would dearly love to know what is going on in the heads of people who are still happy they voted Brexit? I would really love to know what it is they see. It gets worse and worse each day and yet some people are still proud of their vote. They don’t say why, which is a shame because I’d love to understand why they are happy they have done this to us

2. Putting a brake on uncontrolled immigration
3. Not being a vassal state of Germany
4. Not being a vassal state of France
5. GDP way way ahead of ROE
6. Ability to make our own trade deals on our own terms
7. Our taxes dedicated to our own expenditure choices instead of towards funding the pension claimants and welfare state beneficiaries of 27 other states
8. Ability to get our population vaccinated on our own terms way ahead of ROE and not be bogged down by their red tape

1. Fair enough but we had that to some extent anyway, what EU laws were troublesome to you?
2. This hasn't happened and wasn't happening during the EU days
3 and 4. Neither of these things are correct.
5. Not sure I understand this one at all. Given brexit has damaged our economy and therefore GDP.
6. In principle this sounds good. In practice its a complete and unmitigated disaster.
7. Taxes do go to our own country, they always did so false.
8. Nothing at all to do with the EU and interesting that you foresaw this pandemic in 2016 🤣

So in short, a lot of what you have said is nonsense. But I get the immigration bit, helps affirm my belief that brexit was, at heart, bigoted and damaging nationalistic.

I'll give you the first one then! It would be curious to understand what EU laws you thought hampered us.

Absolutely clueless. Totally uninformed. Not a word to say about the damage from leaving the customs union and single market, probably because the poster doesn't even know what they are. This country is fecked.

I think this is one of the problems isn't it? There are perceived advantages such as more autonomy and of course the ability to hate Polish people. So you can see why certain people voted for it back in the day. Now the true failures of the process have been exposed the perceived "advantages" seem petty and small compared to all the problems they have caused the country, the EU and the world.

Reece-Mogg in his new brexit opportunities joke role wants to accept other countries standards on goods. With no reciprocity. He is so desperate to hide the collapse in trade that he wants to surrender what autonomy we have left.

Dicky have you written to him and the Sun yet saying which EU rules you want to get rid of?

Which I knew it would, threads like this cannot be debated in a nice mannner, its a total waste to even attempt to start a thread with 'lets be polite'
