Those types of supporters are so bloody irritating. They always seem to have the loudest voices tooWe need to tell the people sat behind me. After one misplaced pass by Crooks, they were on his back all game. They wanted him off from about 10mins. They even missed his winner. Mind you they seem to pick one player to criticise every game.
Bless usHe’s average at best .shows how far we have fallen when some on here describe him as class. Bless them
He’s been class. Some of us could see it very earlygoalscoring midfielder? He's got 4 goals not 14. Patterson has got 7 and we let him go after a trial
I've been on the Crooks train from the first match. I absolutely love the bloke. He’s been class. Some of us could see it very early
Same here. Well since before he signed actually. Quality footballer in nearly every aspect of the game. Average at best according to someI've been on the Crooks train from the first match. I absolutely love the bloke.
I didn't say he wasn't any good, just that 'goal scoring midfielder' was a stretch. It was too early after 4 goals to claim he was a goalscoring midfielder. He’s been class. Some of us could see it very early
So if he scores 11 goals he’s not a goal scoring midfielder but if he scores 1 more he is because you said so? . I think he’s a goal scoring midfielder because he scores goals and gets chances in most matches he plays.I didn't say he wasn't any good, just that 'goal scoring midfielder' was a stretch. He's got 6 league goals, if he ends the season with 12 then he's a goal scoring championship midfielder, 6-11 he's an all round midfielder, less than 6 he's a number 8 that doesn't score enough
Not if you look at his record it isn't.It was too early after 4 goals to claim he was a goalscoring midfielder.
we have to draw a line somewhere, we all have our different views. goals is plural and can be classed as 2 or more, if a midfielder scores 2 goals all season then is he a 'goalscoring midfielder'? or is there a higher bar to be classed that way?So if he scores 11 goals he’s not a goal scoring midfielder but if he scores 1 more he is because you said so? . I think it’s more the chances a player gets and if they are getting chances and are on 7 goals at this stage of a season at a new club whilst also having missed other chances I think he’s what you would class a goal scoring midfielder and someone who will always get goals for you. He’s reliable. Would expect him to get 11 or 12 by time season ends.
