This will be why the tories have started small. You will notice in the article, the headline includes, "Man of the people?" and Sir Kier". I would imagine, the idea is you question whether he is a man of the people, then use his title to answer that question. How can he be a man of the people if he is knighted?

Media campaigns are incredibly sofisticated, and that is why they work. You have to disable their relevance and accuracy by addressing them head on, and countering them.

I would have thought the government would have more to concentrate on given the electorate are dying, than smearing the opposition leader, with what is, after all, not even a story.

Social media is still awash with this garbage....they are getting desperate and will,and do, sink to any depths at smearing Starmer when their own party is rife with infidelity,corruption ,lies and first class incompetence...what is it with these working class tories? Completely brainwashed and bursting with visions of self importance?

And i forgot to mention the Brexit bully himself Andrew Brigden crying on talk radio cos he had his ar se ripped out of him by Piers Morgan......" he wouldnt let me answer" he cried 🤡 he even said Morgan would be out of a job by Xmas so was invited to a £10,000 bet,for charity, by him that he would be. " I wont be going on TvAm again he wailed"....a complete and utter tosser of the very highest order
 
What irks the most is that just about every Tory out there, who had a plot of land that was potentially worth millions, would be doing everything within their power to exploit it.

Even if you are worth ten million, surely it is better to work within a party with social values, rather than one that represents greed. I find it hard to understand why this story was published, what exactly it is trying to criticise other than as mentioned, the beginning of a drop feed of negativity that will gradually be ramped up.

Let’s not forget, the only Labour Party the mainstream press have got behind in generations is Blair who was very central.

I often feel that our version of democracy is simply a facade - one that is becoming more glaringly contemptuous of the electorate.

Social media should counteract crap like this, sadly it seems to fuel it.
 
Seems like a none story , if you are going to attack the guy at least have something better than this.

It's worth repeating that the plot of land would only be worth millions IF you could develop on it, but you can't, so it isn't. Unless donkey sanctuaries have gone up in value massively
 
Has anyone seen the will of his late mother? Has he been left the field or just part of it? What a nothing story.

..and that just shows why the left were wrong to assume the stories about Corbyn would backfire.

It's like there's almost a dawning realisation of how the media work against the left but then the shutters go back across and normal service is resumed.
