That’s if lads, we only have 4. Glover Elbow from Fmttm has decided Connolly isn’t a striker.4 i wouldn't count connolly
He should have been inched in, he's been worse than what we already had. That’s if lads, we only have 4. Glover Elbow from Fmttm has decided Connolly isn’t a striker.
Agree 100%. We looked very lightweight upfront and either the midfield failed to operate, or the forwards didn’t have movement. Or both. We miss Dunc’s energy, he’s almost like an additional midfielder. As almost all fans I love what Wildwr is doing, but the selection of this forward pairing is bemusing.Probably needed someone in CM. I think it proves how far Payero is out of picture.
I'm not sure how Connolly or Sporar were on the pitch after 70 mins. I'd have had both off for Watmore and Balogun.
Not this nonsense again.I imagine all 3 loan forwards have some kind of 'assurances' about playing. Teams wouldn't loan them without (nevermind what we are paying).
So Watmore is always going to be the one bombed. Although he's probably going to the only one here next season.
Worked a treat last week.
Not from the first choice strikers, they were poor.Worked a treat last week.
Yeah but the impact of the substitutions and the positivity helped us score them goals. Was a bold move that ultimately payed off. Wouldn’t say it never worked tonight either, had chances to score just never. It’s the attitude change I likeBoth goals against Reading came from players who were already on the pitch.
I thought it was very strange not to bring on Payero tonight, it looks like he'll be another nothing signing.
Balogun has to start on Saturday though, Sporar and Connolly were woeful tonight.
And you could argue having that extra presence in the box pulled defenders away from other players. No coincidence both goals came from crosses into the box and Crooks had two free headers for the goals. Both goals against Reading came from players who were already on the pitch, none of them strikers.

I hope it’s not the same story as what happened last January when he got dropped for Kebano and Bolasie after becoming out top scorer. I would one be surprised to see Watmore and Balogun against Coventry.Crooks is still the most likely to score.
Watmore must be baffled as to why he’s starting on the bench each week. Connelly needs to be his back up.
