I don't believe Gibson will be making public communications without legal approval on such high profile issues. That doesn't mean we have to respond at all but it definitely doesn't mean we have to respond with tripe like this. Might as well have been written in crayon.
Point me to the attacks on his character because I must admit I haven't seen them.
agreed, Quantima should be organising to get people around a table and sort it, instead they are playing games, leaking information, blaming other people, absolute shower of a companyDerby’s admins issued a statement earlier this aft too. What an absolute embarrassment conducing this in public.
An Update From The Joint Administrators Of Derby County Football Club
This statement provides a summary of progress to supporters and the media in respect of Derby County Football Club. As we have previously reported, we are dealing with a large number of sensitive issues and felt that issuing reactive statements in response to the recent statements issued by...www.dcfc.co.uk

It's almost as though the Administrator benefits from a long drawn out legal wrangle...Derby’s admins issued a statement earlier this aft too. What an "absolute embarrassment" conducing this in public.

I know just how volatile he can be when criticised, I have personal experience of it, but I believe he knows what he is doing.
You may not like his style of his methods Adi, but I would be very surprised if what he is doing has not been through top lawyers.
You don't think he should respond when he's being publicly branded as the reason that Derby may be going in to liquidation, when that's not the case?
They've had a debate in parliament over it, the Sun have been printing articles claiming that Middlesbrough are threatening the survival of Derby County, there, there's been a petition claiming that Middlesbrough are breaking the law by making a claim and trying to get the Sports Minister to intervene.
All the while the administrators are deflecting and pushing the idea that it's only because of the two claims that they're not doing their job properly.
I can all but guarantee a lawyer hasn't written that.
how the flying fook are they getting away without selling their only saleable assets? is the layers that other teams might want to buy?
none of this makes any sense, the administrators seem totally inept
So what is clear from that is thatDerby’s admins issued a statement earlier this aft too. What an "absolute embarrassment" conducing this in public.

I didn’t say a lawyer had. Gibson is an incredibly astute businessman, he wouldn’t release that without running it by his legal team first.
So what is clear from that is that
a) they do not have a preferred bidder in place
b) the Wycombe and Boro claims are NOT the only things holding proceedings up
c) they have been happy to put out press statements about Boro and Wycombe, now that the two chairman have decided they have the right to reply, they suddenly want it done in private
d) they're starstruck meeting Wayne Rooney
e) they think that they shouldn't have to sell players, despite owing tens of millions of pounds
I am sure it isnt simple, but its odd that many other clubs in administration have had to sell assets and players to keep the doors open and Derby appear to have done jack 5hit apart from trying to spirit away assets to shell corporations and not pay creditors.Read my post above for the explanation: it is nowhere near as simple as that.
Yep, Derby acquired a couple of Wigan players when they were going through administration themselves. Wigan sold their players to pay off their debts.I am sure it isnt simple, but its odd that many other clubs in administration have had to sell assets and players to keep the doors open and Derby appear to have done jack 5hit apart from trying to spirit away assets to shell corporations and not pay creditors.

No, I don't. The administrators and the EFL's statement have all been highly professional (irrespective of what you think about their conduct). The sources you quote are tabloid newspapers, MPs and other equally irrelevant third parties. In response we have issued two statements in the last two days which are nothing short of embarrassing, unprofessional and, frankly, dangerous.
I get that and it all make sense, but, from a layman's perspective, it seems like the plan is to hold out for a White Knight to come in and save the day in the long term with little or no regard for short term solvency or liabilities.THeir duty is to the creditors as a whole. What if the offers on the table are, for example, contingent on retention of playing staff? What if offers have been made for players, accepted and then players have refused to leave because of the size of their contracts? What if agenst are telling those players that they would be able to leave for free in liquidation and get a HUGE payday?
