Johnson's BYOB Party Invitation šŸ¤£

Absolutely pathetic, whenever I think he can't sink any lower in my estimation he manages to pull something out of the bag that does just that, it's not an error of judgement, you pathetic lying twĆ¢t, thatā€™s 75 in a 70 or parking illegally for 5 minutes whilst you run into to buy a pint of milkā€¦this is a blatant and deliberate disregard for the laws that he himself composed, a carefully calculated to ploy to do what he wanted whilst not giving two toots what everybody else was going thorough, a two fingered selfish salute to those he had the temerity to applaud on his doorstep, a weaselly circumvention to excuse the inexcusable and vindicate his lifelong self promoted exceptionality and over bloated arrogance.

Johnson is a shame and blight on this country, a pernicious stain of ego, nastiness and incompetence, worse than any Prime Minister we have ever had and will ever have, driven by greed, power lust and venality, let's hope these are the final acts of a political tragedy beyond my worst imagining
This.

He embodies all that is wrong with this country and the Tories. Contemptuous, privileged and corrupt. Add in lazy for this man. He really thinks he can do what the hell he likes and gets angry when called out on it. How dare you, pleb! The whole idea that he is some kind of anti-establishment figure is risible beyond belief.

It's probably worth pointing out is that it's not in Starmer's best interests for Johnson to go (yet).
What suites Starmer, I believe, is that the longer the tories allow Johnson to continue, the more ammunition he has to stain the entire party with Johnsons behaviour.

Neither the electorate nor Starmer can get rid of Johnson, only the conservative parliamentary party can oust him.

Johnson is, to an extent, the gift that keeps on giving. Especially with Cummings dropping him in it every so often, at times of his choosing.

Such a pity the country gets (more) wrecked the longer he stays.

Apparently Sky News have been told by Tory MP Simon Hoare that his understanding was the No10 party in question was a ā€œthank youā€ for Dominic Raab for deputising while the PM was ill and a ā€œwelcome backā€ to Boris Johnson...

I suspect that the party line is starting to break if Tory MPs are dishing this sort of dirt to journos. That's Raab flushed down the dunny with Johnson. Next...
Dominic Raab has now said this is untrue and that he was neither invited nor attended the party.

I watched the politics show, some minister for ā€œsafeguardingā€ was on she was embarrassing, she was trying to defend the indefensible.

Then some conservative backbencher came on explaining that he had been won over by the level of contrition. He, Johnson is only sorry about being court!

They are all in many ways just as bad as him.

Boris is playing a blinder today. Ran out of dead cats but he dealt with the party thing, and the unlawful vip ppe verdict thing by having Prince Andrew thrown under the bus. "Look a man worse than me" distraction.

On a serious note. I thought I heard that 1922 Committee plan to meet today at 16:00 to discuss urgent matters raised in the house, such as washing machine filters and sunken, dead, non dinosaurs. If they have any time left over they might pop on their grey suits and pop round to see Boris to get pi$$ā‚¬d one last time before they plunge the cheese knife in and put Larry the cat in charge.

Yep, it was awful. She was reduced to saying 'I will not repeat what I have just said'. We've ended up with the Tories stuffed full of useless NIMBY UKIP spill over and we're all so much worse off because of it.

I was shouting at the screen when she was trying to justify it by saying 'you must remember what we were doing at the time - delivering a vaccine that allows us to be most open country in Europe blah blah blah.' Errr, not in May 2020 you weren't. I very clearly remember it as most business shut down, hospitals at capacity, daily news conferences with contradictory unworkable instructions, and the complete absence of clear thinking. Because there was no plan, and no major incident team, or anything at all because it had all been cut driven by Tory ideology. We were stuck in our homes because the Government didn't know what to do.

PM did not see drinks invitation email - Downing Street

The prime minister did not see or receive the email inviting staff to "socially distanced drinks" on 20 May 2020, his press secretary has told reporters - nor did he tell him to send it.

Just another Tory liar.

And what has any of this to do with Sue Grey, why aren't the police getting involved, they have enough witnesses amongst their own who were guarding the place when the crime took place?

Downing St at refusing to confirm or deny whether Carrie was at the party, or whether Jonhson brough a bottle himself. They're also refusing to confirm or deny whether he saw the food and drink available in the garden.

On top of this the leader of the Scottish Conservatives has called for him to resign. It's not looking good fro Johnson.

Boris Johnson is desperately looking around for the next patsy to take the blame for all this.

Even if he does survive, which will basically mean that there is no other Tory willing to challenge him, he is a complete lame duck.

Unfortunately for Johnson, the dots are all now starting to join up and his response to this entire pandemic has been pathetic. His attitude throughout it all (if you read all of what has been stated) the pandemic is that of a spoilt brat who is making decisions after being pressured by peers and other nations. Remember the let the bodies pile high statement that came out. Cummings stated that Johnson regretted the first lockdown and this party scandal only ratifies that attitude.

I actually had an ounce of respect for him when he refused to implement further measures before Christmas and Sturgeon ended up with egg on her face.

I think if someone had sent an email to 100 people, inviting them to a BYOB party at my house, then it would be an entirely moot point whether I was included in the invite, don't you think?

Maybe Johnson had so many parties in his garden he never noticed this one?

He did have the appearance of a man that had been on a 6 day bender every week.

Hes a dead man walking, the leader of the Scottish tory party has called for him to go, as have a growing number of tory MPs
Hes s political version of Steve Bruce 2021
