Next Supporters Forum Meeting Soon

In the interest of transparency can we ask that the club disclose the number of away tickets held back before they are offered to fans under the priority points system (for players, MFC employees, corporates, away season card holders). I believe some clubs already do this.
A number of people have commented on a significant number of tickets already reserved when logging in to buy away tickets at the specified time.
There's no point in doing so as the number of tickets 'held back' (actually allowed to buy first) will always be fewer than the numbers eligible to buy them.

I would be interested to know how many tickets are available under the loyalty system out of an allocation of say 1500. The only thing certain is that it's less than 1500.

I think they probably wouldn't be able to tell you and the number that could theoretically get priority would be far higher than would ever be used.

I believe we are not talking about a lot of tickets here.
The staff ticket allocation is far smaller than it was a decade ago for instance. I am sure I heard that was the case.
Away season ticket holders numbers are capped. Not sure of the number. Is it 120? Supporters groups (not include SC2010 as they take none) are going to be well short of 50 total.

Some of the fan groups do receive the option of buying a small number of away tickets - 10 or under - this allows organised travel to away games.
Could you expand on this please? Is this within the confines of the existing points structure?

What about the corporate side of things?
Box sponsors, hospitality packages etc
Are they a factor?

@rob_fmttm - This seems to be suggesting the supporters groups are given the option of buying tickets outside the established sales process/priority points system or are we misunderstanding it?

Definitely need to clarify this please.

I don’t know any details about this at all.

I know the person who organises transport wanted to get season tickets from members for an away game so I am sure that individual does not know.

I think if you are a season ticket holder and are affiliated to traveller from a local supporters club the support a bus load with tickets for the same area of the ground with improved friendships, have a bubble, getting everyone tested before travel.

You could perhaps have a rep attending the supporters clubs attending meetings with players.

I know Manchester City do this as my friend is a member of their Harrogate branch.

If there’s a supporters group that all have the required points (spit) to satisfy the conditions for purchasing in demand tickets, then I have no problem with it, other than the points system itself of course. However if supporters groups are given block bookings of tickets for in demand games regardless of how many points they have then this is wrong. Particularly when the rest of us are scrambling around for these tickets.

Please don't doubt me Rob because I have ears as well as eyes. When a steward says to a fan do you have any ID to match your Covid-19 passport because the name on the season card is different then the lad says no, not even a drivers license or a debit card. The steward then says "oh go on in then". If you like I'll give you the date, approximate time and turnstile no?
Why does this bother you so much it’s a farce anyway ? At Blackpool I showed my wife’s covid pass from my apple wallet instead of mine by mistake and I was still allowed in.

This was discussed last meeting - and the club definitely want to start this process again with away kits at least.
Hope so. Will bring a small connection back to the fans Rob. You could even have a prize draw with it. If you vote you are entered into a draw for a match day experience and be part of the away kit launch.
