That's what a society is. We live together, we act (by and large) in the interests of the whole of society. It's why we don't take a shidt in a public park, why we put rubbish in bins, etc. Societal norms.

Perhaps wearing masks in public and vaccination is the "price" we must pay as a society? Ranting at these limitations isn't helpful unless you have a coherent alternative strategy to minimise the strain on healthcare (including mental health) and the damage to the economy. It is of no help yelping about coerced or compulsory vaccination if you cannot suggest a viable, achievable and affordable alternative.

Perhaps you could expand?

As I do? Where have I said I'm in the vulnerable category? I haven't. Do you just assume that everyone not vulnerable is as selfish as you?

The government have had plenty of leavers they could pull though Mutley, and haven't. The loss of control is down to government policy.

Boosters should be ramped up way quicker than they are currently being given. There is plenty of scientific evidence to suggest the correct strategy is to give booster only to the vulnerable so they can be protected fully, and re-boosters when efficacy wanes even a little.

Vaccinations help, but with 90% of the adult population vaccinated, it isn't really controlling infections as well as was hoped.

Only 68% of the total population are fully vaccinated it isn't enough.

From what I've read about anything that Randy's posted I don't think he's selfish whatsoever, I think he's a family man and a grafter who's had enough of the mud that covid has flung at him. I don't think he's selfish one bit.

The likes of Sherlock wouldn't understand so it's a waste of time discussing with him. I've been called worse than a selfish **** by bigger people in the flesh. Calling me it from behind a computer screen doesn't bother me one bit if it helps him/her get through the day.
