if you voted conservative, are you comfortable with your vote the way things have panned out?
You’ve seen nothing yet budif you voted conservative, are you comfortable with your vote the way things have panned out?
And that’s what keeps boris in power this ah but what will they do mentality. All parties are in it for themselves.
Absolutely nailed it there. Mediocre public servants reflect 100% the British public! I’d go as far as stating the British public are fecking idiots generallyNever voted for anyone , so far they have been rubbish, Covid was a game changer and brexit was always going to throw up problems. Labour would have been as bad, we have mediocre politicians that reflect our society, it’s the same with the police.
Apart from me and you obviously.Absolutely nailed it there. Mediocre public servants reflect 100% the British public! I’d go as far as stating the British public are fecking idiots generally
Boris is saying he wants “working classes” paid more so they don’t have to compete with ‘low-skilled’ workers from the EU (therefore assuming working class = low skilled, but we’ll let that pass for now) but this puts the cost of goods up which nullifies the wage increase. It’s been done before it didn’t work.I feel OK about voting for the Tories in 2019 - but i'm not affiliated with any political party either way, they were just the 'best option' at the time
Brexit was always going to be a bit of a mess for a few years after officially leaving the EU, but in the long-run I think it will prove to be the right decision
Gas prices are going up across the world, the EU have issues with it, this isn't just a UK problem... the fuel crisis was essentially media-made - however paying British lorry drivers more money instead of relying on importing cheap labour from the EU, will be a good thing for British workers eventually - this is essentially what Brexit is about for the 'working classes' - stopping them having to compete with low-skilled workers coming in from the EU to do their jobs, thus reducing wages in the process
Of course Big Business will think this is a 'major issue' as it means they have to pay British workers a better wage, but like I said, in the long run I think it will be fine
But the Tories are utterly inept but crucially, they lie through their back teeth to retain power with the willing backing of the written press and people fall for itI have never voted Tory but can see why so many have in recent years. Until there is a real credible opposition then we are stuck with them, and they know it.
I fully agree. Great post. But the Tories are utterly inept but crucially, they lie through their back teeth to retain power with the willing backing of the written press and people fall for it
10 years of austerity and running down the police, nhs, education & benefits system to breaking point and they spin it as ‘really responsible fiscal governance’ utter lies and deceit to the point where I believe they are inherently evil
Unpatriotic isn’t even close
Heaping misery on millions
Norfolk, can I ask what you think the average Labour prospective MP is actually " in it for", how do they expect to benefit for " themselves". Its certainly expected that every Tory MP will have 2nd income as well as sold his soul to some vested commercial interest.Everyone will be hoodwinked at the next GE like they always are. All parties are in it for themselves.
