Rumour on One Boro re Warnock and if we lost today

I'd welcome some random German (other nationalities are available) if they could give us some semblance of shape.
We are 'nowt nor summat as the saying goes right now. We are neither a pressing team, a counter attacking team, a footballing team or a physical team.

Who comes in? It's all very well saying "Warnock out" but after nearly 15 years of poor management decisions, do we trust SG to bring the right man in? Who might it be?

A lot of damage has been done already re; this season's hopes. If Gibson wants any slim chance of reviving them he must act now. I like Warnock, but this is ridiculous.

Once things like this start turning up on message boards and other fans angry posts about a manager, you know something is close. We know Gibbo likes to stick by his managers, but I honestly don't see what point there is in doing it this season with Warnock??

In hindsight, we should have just signed a new manager with so many new signings coming in.

If he was on the verge of the sack, I'm sure Gibson would be aware that it would be better for it to happen before he played his boyhood club.

Warnock's last game being a defeat against Sheffield United is not how he'd want to end his career.
I know what you're saying ,but for me I couldn't care less about Warnock/SheffU - I only care about the timing being right for Boro if it's to happen

How many were complaining when we hired him though?
I'm not sure that's a fair question. Anyone who was complaining at the time he was hired was hounded by the board for being overly negative, not giving the new manager a chance, not getting behind the team etc.

Besides that fact, we're all armchair fans, not professional football 'experts'. I think we can reasonably expect those in positions of power at the club to be making better decisions than we ourselves could? Therefore, I think it's perfectly reasonable to hold SG to account no matter what the fanbase as a whole did or did not think.

Perhaps we should resume our love affair with ex Boro centre backs.
We didn't do too badly with Mogga or Southgate or Woody as manager. Perhaps Big Nigel may like a shot at the job when he's free.
Now I know that may mean another couple of dozen different players, but a change is as good as a rest, and Warnock hasn't really been a failure - he's improved us about half a dozen positions in the year and a quarter he's been manager.

So in my reckoning then, in less than 3 years time and with about 2 more managerial changes, with a bit of luck we could be in the playoffs. There's progress.

whichever way you look at it,it needs a change of manager or the season will be over soon enough,i do feel we have a decent team, a new manager may get more out of them,im not convinced warnock even knows which his best 11 is
