Vaccine Passports

as a start..

Potential long term side effects that are still unknown from a rushed through vaccine that manufacturers are exempt from any liability should anything go wrong. I am young, fit and healthy - I am worried about unknown long term side effects and feel anxious about taking it. Who are you to tell me what I should or shouldn't inject in my body

The never before seen coercion tactics employed globally to push the vaccine - https://www.theguardian.com/world/2...ke-hesitant-even-more-reluctant-to-get-jabbed

The at times insane tactics employed by the police/government throughout the lockdown that made me think this is about more than a virus - OTT policing i.e people being arrested for going for a coffee too far from your house, sitting on a bench when out for a walk etc etc.... Me living in Spain for part of it and being harassed by police on motorbikes for walking down an empty road alone for not wearing a mask, seeing insane fines on people incapable of being able to pay them for not wearing a mask outside, drones flying overhead making sure people are wearing masks outdoors, the craziness of one particular lockdown when there was red zones and green zones and we could only walk down particular streets because some outdoor streets were deemed more dangerous than others, the fact you couldn't smoke outdoors and only in your car or house at one point.. does any of this seem rationale or normal to you??

Then fact that during the first lockdown children in spain were subject to not being allowed out for exercise for 12 weeks - imagine being cooked up in a flat for 12 weeks with no garden and not allowed out even for exercise for 12 weeks. Madness.

The censoring of any debate on any social media platforms - why can't we have reasoned debate about this?

18 months ago if you'd said any of this was plausible you'd be labelled a conspiracy theorist - don't forget where this has come from. The 'conspiracy theorists' at the time said this was leading to mandatory vaccine and digital health ID - again labelled conspiracy theorists. Where are we now?
Question for you - which vaccines can you name that had long term side effects?

Within my friends and family I have quite a few doctors and nurses - all of them are vaccinated. The science behind the vaccine is proven and this is supported by the scientific community at large.

How many of your friends died of smallpox?

It's pointless arguing logically with conspiracy theorists - they are not scientifically minded people in general

They have a feeling "something's not right" then watch a YouTube video by someone looking to exploit people's fear and anxiety with an easy solution - it's a conspiracy

The pattern of the conspiracy is generally that a shadowy cabal with an ulterior motive are controlling this situation, only a select few people (who have watched the same YouTube video) are wise to the truth, everyone else is "sheeple" etc etc..

I have x2 A*s in Double Science at school, and an A in Chemistry at A Level. Well educated, good job, enjoy a good life.

Something quite clearly isn't right, hence my post about 30 minutes ago. If you think this is normal / the best way to manage the outbreak of a virus then you are clearly burying your head in the sand. I have not once uttered the word 'sheeple'.

Clearly you're as well qualified as the professors and doctors working in research...

I don't mean to be rude but A-Levels whilst great aren't enough to consider yourself well educated particularly in comparison with professors and doctors. What part of your GCSE or A-Level included studying vaccines, their impact, their long term effects etc in detail?

Have a shot at answering my previous post:

It worked for smallpox back in the day to be fair.

Edit. Apologies @Primus84 I wrote that before I'd read your post.

OK

Back in 1854, the powers that be stopped everyone in Soho from using a public water fountain.

The locals were very upset about this.

'What's going on?!' they raged.

'You can't stop us drinking water! It's an affront to our liberties! We need water to drink! This is madness!!!' etc etc

Then it was shown that the water fountain was a source of cholera, and that 616 people had died from having drunk from it.

You can read more about it here

So, just because you think the authorities are messing you about, doesn't mean to say they're being bad, even if you don't understand why it's happening.

The lockdown was put in place for reasons of public hygiene in order to prevent the spread of the virus. It's as simple as that, it really is.

As for the 'unknown long term side effects' then perhaps you may take solace in the fact that millions and millions of people have taken it, including doctors, epidemiologists & medical professionals and all those people who understand it way more than you and I ever will.

The efforts that go into the clinical trials these days are way, way better than those used in 1796 when the first smallpox vaccine was developed. The same vaccine that rid the world of smallpox. Vaccine technology is actually quite simple these days. The bods at Oxford developed it just a few weeks after getting their first sample of the virus. It's testing it that takes the time, and believe it or not this one has had a helluva lot of testing. How much more testing would you need for you to be happy to take it? There have been loads of vaccines in the past that have had nowhere near as much testing, yet have been used millions of times, without problem.

Nobody answered his question. Why isn't a negative test sufficient anymore?
Randy, I don't want to fall out over this but come on, you've been critical of lockdowns, openly breaking local lockdowns and a general critic of everything relating to Covid. The only way out of this public health disaster is vaccination.

You know fine well that a negative test does not mean you're not infected and won't go on to infect others - I've explained this several times to you.

I'd certainly rather have an inert vaccine stimulate my immune system, rather than a virus that is known to damage lungs, heart, brain, kidneys, intestines etc etc. Those are long term side effects I could do without.

I never said I was. You said 'conspiracy theorists' (as you have labelled me) are not scientifically minded people and I am saying that is not the case. Being a doctor or nurse does not make you a scientist either.

Do I need to be a doctor to have an opinion on if I should or shouldn't take a vaccine, or should I just follow what I am told blindly?

Completely your choice at the end of the day, but looking at the science surely the risk of long Covid is significantly higher than anything from the vaccine? We probably all know someone perfectly healthy who has ended up with long Covid at some point over the last few years. We have no idea the long term impacts that could cause to our health

Completely agree with the rest of that though, 12 weeks with limited exercise will have awful mental and physical impacts on anyones health. We should have been encouraged to get out as much as possible during lockdown provided everything remained outside, health benefits would have been huge and it would have significantly increased compliance

Where did I use the phrase "conspiracy theorists"?

If you're going to disagree with the medical community at large then it pays to have some reason for doing so - something grounded in science.

Sorry I got you and Bukowski (who wrote the post I replied to) mixed up... see his original post above that.

Ok, would you like to answer my question? Which vaccines can you name that had long term side effects?
Not sure, I've never been someone who takes lots of vaccines, I had a the TB jab when I was at school that made my arm spill loads of puss out about 3 weeks down the line but other than that I've not really taken them. I could lie and do some googling now and no doubt find a few and list them here but what's the point in that.

Oh for goodness' sake.

"Well educated" but against vaccines in general but has nothing to back it up...

Oh for goodness sake indeed - nerd...

I've never said I was against vaccines but I've never felt the need. As an early 30's healthy male what vaccines would I want to take? The flu shot in my mid 20s? What would be the point in that? Should I be judged for being young fit and healthy and not taking vaccines prior to this point?

Read my multiple comments previously as to why I am sceptical / anxious about this vaccine.. I shouldn't have to regurgitate myself every second post so you can try and trip me up on a technical wording,
