My immediate thoughts on seeing the headline were that it was removed due to Liverpool's connections with the slave trade.
Might do better looking a bit closer to home if they want to fight lying, incompetent deceitful and corrupt political leadersLiverpool is probably the last red wall which will never be broken by a corupt incompetent, lying, decitful Tory government
Dunno. Downing Street seems a pretty fertile place to start at the moment if only because of the scale of the mind boggling billions they've dished out to their mates and relatives and continue to do so.@Corco65, what's your opinion

As I said, a bit closer to home. Maybe it doesn't count if it has a red rosette hey?Dunno. Downing Street seems a pretty fertile place to start at the moment if only because of the scale of the mind boggling billions they've dished out to their mates and relatives and continue to do so.
Looks like my comment was either ignored or misunderstood. Happens. As I said, a bit closer to home. Maybe it doesn't count if it has a red rosette hey?
Liverpool council corruption scandal threatens Labour power in the city
Analysis: Political fallout could cost Labour the city’s mayoralty and votes in May’s local electionswww.theguardian.com
I was acrually referring to your inability or unwillingness to address the far greater issue of Tory incompetence, graft, nepotism, corruption and theft, but I can understand why you might find that difficult. There does appear to be a blue rosette shaped blind spot on these matters. No matter, not worth falling out over it eh? Why spoil a beautiful friendship I say.Ignore your comment? I replied to it!
Is true, but unlike many other places or people, Liverpool recognises its part in the past. One word ……….slavery
Shut up!!One word ……….slavery
Mind you I think Liverpool could be quite rightly p****d off at this result considering Venice has kept it’s status when most of the time you can’t see the place for twenty storey cruise ships and the Pyramids have kept there’s when they’re virtually in the city now, there’s a bluddy road up the middle and the Great Pyramid is just a coach park!
Venice's status was under threat not that long ago due to the tourism issue. It has been addressed though. Liverpool have made irreversible changes to area that received cultural heritage status and did so even when warned.Mind you I think Liverpool could be quite rightly p****d off at this result considering Venice has kept it’s status when most of the time you can’t see the place for twenty storey cruise ships and the Pyramids have kept there’s when they’re virtually in the city now, there’s a bluddy road up the middle and the Great Pyramid is just a coach park!
